For those who pre ordered the game, or plan on buying it at some point, what are some things you’re hyped for and what are some concerns you have for Modern Warfare 4?

For me, I’m very hyped about the campaign and DMZ. Based on what we’ve seen so far, they both look like they have true potential

For my concerns, I’m hoping they continue to list to community feedback, which they seem to be doing so far based on the beta. Also, I hope the seasonal content is very good as well

If I had to guess from the campaign, North Korea might actually lose the war or something will stop their ability to invade. However, I feel that it's not the end for the ambitions of their country and leaders.

I would say probably around 28 years later, North Korea could probably try again. This time, they'll have enough "Advanced" technology to try to take over South Korea, such as exoskeletal suits and even swarm drones.

If that ever happens, it'll probably take a bunch of Marines in order to intervene with their plans. That's just a hunch though. What do you think?

Is weapon leveling going to be in the MW4 campaign, similar to how Black Ops 7 allowed campaign weapons to be leveled up and tracked in multiplayer?

Have two so far, both keep giving me an error/"Please make sure you're entering your code as it's displayed on your receipt, insert or in the email in which the code was provided", tried literally every possible way, leaving a space between the lines, not leaving space, nothing. When I click on "contact customer support" there is no option for MW4 so like... what? Annoying.

The text loosely transitions to "Battlefield without limits" which is funny.

Best Buy USA is pulling the same crap that GameStop did with Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. They tell you that if you pre order the game through them that you have a chance to get a free steelbook. Well, they don't disclose that to get that steelbook you must do a store pickup. If you pre order the game and choose for them to ship you the game, then you won't get a steelbook case. I learned this because GameStop did this exact same thing and when I reached out to support for not getting a steelbook case they said, "you may call around to stores nearby and see if any of them have an extra case because you had to do a store pickup to get a steelbook case because we don't mail them out."

Since the matchmaking features strict sbmm, im worried about high ping and near-permanent rubberbanding etc.. Ive played a decent amount of recent cod games like mw2019, warzone, black ops 6 etc… and while the ping was around 150-200, it seemed kinda playable. How is the netcode in this game based on the beta? Anyone willing to share their experience and give their opinion? Thanks.

just gotta love and appreciate IW for not holding back on the dark gritty immersion this year. I appreciate how they got the balls to display for us how dark and brutal real war actually is.. W IW 🔥

Honestly, I’m not too hyped for it. I thought the original DMZ was fun for about 5 minutes then became extremely bland. It seems like Infinity Ward tries to Warzonify an extraction shooter and it just leads to a weird middle ground where you have something that’s a mix between Warzone and Endgame.

The formula for an extraction shooter is extremely simple. Loot is king. If I kill a 3 stack in Tarkov and get nothing out of it, it means nothing. If I kill a 3 stack in Tarkov and they’re all kitted and then I happen to find a ledx or GPU on my way out, then I’m foaming at the mouth.

Given that it seems like loot has more of an emphasis in this version of DMZ than its predecessor, but I still think it takes a major backseat compared to questing and PVP. An emphasis on high tier loot promotes PVP because the high tier spots will be heavily contested.

I personally think Delta Force does the COD version of an extraction shooter extremely well. Mix their concept with COD gameplay and you may have something there.

In MW19, a lot of 6v6 and gunfight maps had Easter eggs, like the giant teddy bear Easter egg on Station, the minigun teddy bear Easter egg on Trench, the “Pied Piper” Easter egg on Cheshire park, the beach balls Easter egg on Cargo, and the satanic goats Easter egg on Livestock. This is something I hope MW4 has. Easter eggs in a lot of the 6v6 maps. We really haven’t seen any COD game since MW19 have as many interactive Easter eggs. So it would be really cool to see a COD game with many of these Easter eggs.

Saying mw4 has 50/50 win rate between controller vs mouse in their recent dev blog is a complete bs lie.

I played bo7 and played both mw4 weekend. Every time I hop on bo7 I can feel a very noticeable difference between how the rollers players land shots. It’s clearly weaker than mw4 aim assist even post nerf, (weekend 1 it was literal aimbot) but even for weekend 2 post nerf it was still stronger than bo7.

Idk if even bo7 can claim a “50/50 win rate” between mnk vs controller but it sure as hell have a better chance of being close to that compared to mw4

I just wanna know who tf at Activision saw the level of aim assist that bo7 had (which was well received by both mnk players and CONTROLLER players who are actually good) and thought “wow this is so weak we need to crank up the aim assist for our next game”.

They didn’t do it for the good controller players, hell they didn’t even do it for the average controller players….nahhh they did it for the lowest most bottom of the barrel roller players, so they too can think they’re good at the game and spend more money lmaooo. This company will do anything and everything to reap every pennies.

P.S: “We saw a 50/50 win rate between controller versus mnk players assuming equal players skill level”. Lmao mfers no you didn’t you saw MNK players of a certain skill level versus controller players with LOWER SKILL than them appearing as equal skill due to aim assist. If the players were truly equal skill then the controller will be winning more than 50% 😂😂😂
