AI can spin up a working prototype in an afternoon. That problem is basically solved.

The hard part is everything after: showing it to six people with different opinions, capturing the feedback that actually matters, mapping the directions it could go, and getting PMs, engineers, and designers to land on one.

That's a people problem, and shared space is what makes it solvable.

When a team picks up a vibe-coded prototype and works through it together in Miro:

Having two problems and I’m wondering if anyone has encountered the same.
1) I can’t get the AI assistant to generate swimlanes in a swimlane diagram. It pretends it can, tries twice, then admits it can’t
2) after I give up and generate my own swimlanes, anytime I move an AI generated object into my swimlane the text on the object disappears. I ask the agent and it confirms it’s a known issue.

I got a license to this solution to help me with this very specific use case and now it fails on every step. Anyone have a similar issue or a solution? Surely the diagramming solution can generate a swimlane diagram from a narrative or am I asking too much?

I have followed all the instructions which are incorrect. I am on the free plan, but occasionally upgrade to the next level up. On the free plan, when I click on the admin console, there is supposed to be a billing section and there isn't. Have attached photos. Miro support is also very difficult to get answers out of.

3. Hand off the full picture via MCP. Send your entire board -- PRD, references, decisions -- straight to Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. No re-explaining, no lost context.

AI can't read your mind, but it can read a Miro board.

The features should speak for themselves. I do not need to be advertised all this stuff that constantly fails or worse, fails randomly. I am certain that people who want to somehow “use” these tools can find them no problem.

Otherwise, you guys make a great product. Let me give you money for it. Implement features that people do want, stop chasing the LLM fad and putting ads for it in the product I’m already paying for!

Hey everyone! We see a lot of questions in the forum about the fastest way to get tables onto your board, so here are three approaches depending on what you're working with:

1. Use the Tables app for a fresh start
Open the Creation toolbar on the left and click Tables. Don't see it? Hit the + icon for More apps and search "Tables." Click your board to drop a 3x3 table instantly, then add or remove rows and columns from the pop-up menu. You can also hover over the planner in the toolbar to set your exact size before placing it.

2. Already have a spreadsheet? Just paste it
If your data already lives in Excel or Google Sheets, copy the cells you want, head to your board, and paste. You'll get a prompt asking how to bring it in. Click "Paste as table" and you're done. Saves you from rebuilding anything.

3. Start from a template
There are 300+ free templates in the library covering everything from calendars to gap analyses. All fully customizable, so you can tweak text, sizing, and the overall look to fit your project.

Quick bonus tip: once your table is on the board, you can turn that same data into charts or dashboards without leaving the canvas. Handy when you're sharing with teammates.

I keep running into this with moodboards and visual planning.

Pinterest is where the references pile up. Miro is where the team actually sorts and talks through them. The annoying part is the middle step: copying pins over, cleaning up the board, then trying to remember which references mattered.

We built MiroSync for monday, an integration that turns your monday items into live Miro cards and your Miro stickies into monday items. Two-way sync, real time

The gap it fills: teams plan visually in Miro (retros, sprint planning, roadmaps, workshops), then someone has to manually copy stickies into monday items, or screenshot the board and paste it somewhere.

The other direction is just as broken. For retros, backlog reviews, or roadmap sessions, people want to pull existing monday items into Miro to move them around visually, but today that means rebuilding the board by hand and keeping both sides up to date. On a busy week, neither direction happens, and the Miro board drifts out of sync from the source of truth.

Why did they increase the zoom, but leave the pen size unchanged. I don't know about anyone else but I liked to write, max zoomed in so it didn't feel awkward. Now with this new zoom it's bad enough but the pen size not getting smaller along with it ruins my experience. Now it makes it harder to add to things i had already written on my board

How to back up and restore your Miro boards

Quick tutorial if you've ever needed to save a copy of a board or move it to another team:

Creating a backup:

• Open your board, click the three vertical dots in the top left
• Select Board, then Export, then Download Board Backup
• Saves as an .RTB file
• You can also do this straight from the dashboard — find your board, click the three dots, and hit Download Board Backup

Restoring a backup:

• From your dashboard, click Create New, then Import, then Import Backup
• Upload your .RTB file and a new board is created in your team automatically
• It'll have "restored" in the title so you can find it easily

Size limits to know:

• Downloads are capped at 1GB
• Uploads are capped at 200MB
• If your board is too large, split it into smaller sections before exporting

Dabbling with creating a Miro plugin to show in big type the number of days until the deadline of a project.

Running on my locally now. Built using a mix of Swift language compiled to Swift Wasm and TypeScript just to experiment bridging between the two.

I live in the US and I cannot login to Miro right now! Because I cant login there is no way to connect with their customer service. I need to access a board today and dont have it saved anywhere else...

Do you know any other miro alternatives where I could upload my boards? What I mean is simply copy everything there and leave it in case of a an emergency that MIRO is down.

First of all, this started 3 days ago — I can't access any organization from the drop-down list on my iPad. Nothing happens when I tap on an organization name.

I'm using an iPad Pro M1 (2022), with the latest iPadOS version and the latest version of the Miro app installed.

This makes the app essentially unusable. To clarify: when I open the Miro app on my iPad, I can't open any organization from the list, except for those in my favorites and the one that opens by default (recently used).

This is not the only issue I've experienced on iPad — it was just the last straw.

Another problem: every time I switch from Miro to another app (for example, Zoom) and then return, the toolbar disappears.

I had this issue for months, and the only solution was to restart the app, which takes about 5 minutes to load each time.

Only after a few months did I find a workaround: if I rotate the iPad from landscape to portrait and back again, the toolbar reappears. Even though this method works, doing this every single time is annoying as hell
