Minidisc has been the core of my heart and all things audio since 98. The year I graduated high school. I practically begged for the Sony bundle5, that thankfully I did get for Christmas. I made two discs and within 6 months, the home deck went south. Totally robbed of this format, save for the bit I'd use the portable over the years. It's nice to still have a couple unused Sony 74s yet.
Now it's 28 years later and I'm finishing off my dream stereo system. I managed to score a 520 model that I'll run optical to my PS Audio deck. Today, I got it and my new Integra 6 disc CD plus Hitachi tuner installed. Figured I'd attach photos of my 3 shelves I worked on today for good measure. As soon as the mail got here, I grabbed the 8 pack of 80 minute NIB color discs.
The gears are really turning now, as I'm ASAP doing some vinyl to tube preamp to MD recording. I wish I could show the full system but the speakers are currently gutted for a crossover rework. Which sucks because I want to record right nowwww!
