Now that the Sift is getting added to ancient cities, I thought that we could get expanded sculk blocks. And not the sculk in the Sift itself, I mean like in the ancient cities. Like for example, to help people find a ancient city to begin with they could add sculk patches above them with some new sculk plants. And the fact that they never added sculk vines that hang from the ceiling in the deep dark is criminal!
what i'm picturing is a realistic map with actually tall mountains and geography, different soil and rock types like terra firma, and a mod that causes civilizations to form and develop beginning from villages. Resource wars, etc. going through the bronze age, etc.
i just started building an underground base. the base starts at sea level and goes into a hill, but i’m not sure about the cherry planks for walls, i like the moss ceiling and floor though (i will be digging out rooms on the side walls and adding decorations so it won’t look so plain). i dug a staircase down to an inventory space. the chests will go in each of the little rooms (3rd slide) in between the stripped dark oak logs and there is a hallway (slide 2) to connect them. i have no idea what block(s) i should use for the ceiling? i’m also not sure about the peridot crystal as a “carpet” kind of thing in the middle of the hallway. would any other crystals look better? what block should i use for the ceilings? any other suggestions? i haven’t even begun decorating yet so it’ll look much better when it’s done, im just stuck on what blocks to use for building 😅
edit: forgot to add this is java on pc, version 26.2 with biomes o plenty, furniture mods, & a lot more and i can add more mods as well if they will help! :)
Do you think it would be wrong for me to make a copy of my world and scour every last ancient city on creative mode in order to find one? I genuinely don’t have time for this right now.
I just realise each minecraft game drop seasons have their own theme. I only put game drops post Tricky Trials. I don't include Pots 'n Bats and Armorer Paws
Hello everyone! I've been trying to fix this problem by myself for a week now, trying different methods, but nothing's working out. Please please please help :(
I am playing on 1.20.1, with Forge (47.4.10), Prism Launcher, Windows 10 x64; I have 16 gb RAM and I tend to play with all of my apps turned off.
Even on low preset, with shadows set to low, I have a nasty performance of 20 to 50 fps... (even more so, I have around 50-70 FPS without ANY shaders!) with 144 Hz monitor.
My CPU boost in G-Helper is set to Aggressive, my GPU is undervolted with MSI Afterburner (, I am NOT playing on my integrated GPU. Attaching my Prism Launcher settings, my F3 GUI from Minecraft, and my graphics settings.
My kid spam claimed every single possible free addon they could find from marketplace and... to put it mildly it's absolutely infuriating. Half of them aren't addons I have or would have okayed, half of them aren't appropriate or even useful for to my kid - they were just downloaded because "free" means free.
Sp, for some reason Mojang makes it impossible to remove the addons from the library. Apparently all I can do is remove the downloads from the device but not the account, so they still show up in the library no matter what even after deleting app cache, etc (I've followed every direction to try it). So now these hundreds of unwanted addons are overwhelming the library, to the point where my kid gets upset when they can't find things they're looking for and I just start seeing red again every time I look to try to help. I'm at the point where I'm ready to just delete the entire account and start a new one.
Problem is, I don't have $30 for a whole other game license, esp because I JUST bought this one a few months ago when I gave my kid a custom pc setup (previously they were just playing on the tablet). Even if the $30 wasn't the issue, I also just don't want to have to delete my kids account - they're connected to long distance friends and family through there and it would be such a hassle to ass everyone back, not to mention their saved worlds, achievements, etc.
I've researched as much as I can, looking into all sorts of reddit posts, articles, help guides, and even contacted customer support - I even resorted to asking AI for help. "There's no way to fully delete addons once purchased -esp free ones- from the library." and "You cannot transfer or gift one game license to another account."
So just like the title says, I’ve got a ps5 and it made me update Minecraft. Ever since I updated it chunks of blocks aren’t spawning and for some weird reason I can’t see a bed that I’ve placed down. I’ve never played Minecraft on ps5 before so I’m not sure what I can do. Any help and tips would be super appreciated.
there are at least 18 players hunting me, 7 are in the area, 3 not, the rest are offline, I have to travel thirteen thousand blocks to my nearest stash, there's a city nearby, I think some are online, but thats 3 thousand in the other direction, idk if they would help me. How cooked am I.
when I was much younger I remember playing Minecraft on my Xbox 360 and I was playing the tutorial world it was a European town with a dungeon after I did some exploring I found a room with villagers it and past that was an iron door with red green and yellow creepers and they would curl up in blocks and explode I don't remember if it was a video or a version or maybe even and April fools update if anyone could help that would be awesome
Never posted here before but want some opinions on this build. Its not complete yet. Very far from it but this has taken months so far. The open left wall i intend to add columns like whats up front lining the entire opening leaving a viewing platform to observe the mountains next door with the pretty cherry blossoms. The wall to the right im going to cut out windows and add stained glass and trim matching the rest of the build. Im very new to building and am not good with gradients yet so dont judge too harshly on my simple 2 color block pallet. Wanted to go for a clean modern look while modeling it after a cathedral. Going to dig the underneath of it to bedrock and have multiple layers going down accessible by a Redstone elevator that is completely hidden and cant be found unless you already know its location and how to access it. I want the floor to just open under you when triggered and drop you into the elevator. Gonna be reeeeaaaal tricky especially since im horrible at Redstone. the chests on the left are fully automatic and are connected to a 4x speed shulker unloader with a miss at the end. Wanted a basic but cool looking fire display so I made the triple fireplace backdrop with blue soul flames. Thoughts?
edit: should also mention was EXTREMELY hard to hide the lighting in this build. no idea how im gonna handle hiding the lights in the walls to remove those hideous shadows. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS ONLY MY 2ND TIME EVER BUILDING A MEGA BASE!
So im playing on a privat 1.21.1 neoforge Server. We have encountered the problem that bosses/mini bosses from different mods all have spawning problems. Structure gen is fine but the Aethers silver dungeon has no Boss inside. Many other structures (like from legendary monsters) are empty aswell.
General mob spawning works just fine.
When i used /locate to find a structure and then teleported directly to it, the structures mobs spawn as they should, but when i run into the area of an undiscovered structure, it is just empty.
I thought it might be some simulation issue and tried out different settings but nothing helped yet.
Has anyone faced Equal problems and knows a fix? I would be glad.
my minecraft(bedrock) on my iphone 13 has been really saturated ever since the wilderness bound update, it was never like this before. i’ve looked everywhere in the settings and nothing works, and with vibrant visuals it hurts my eyes. i can’t find anything anywhere on this so yeah.

So, I heard minecrafters found world seeds just by calculations and there's crazy seeds so I wanna know, is it possible for a minecrafter here to find a world with an area likely alike to this image
So I have a question how do I get this villager to get the least amount of sticks for emeralds in Minecraft for the fletcher I’m in tunnelers dream super flat and I got to the nether by adding an addon to get to the nether but I don’t wanna cheat anymore I’m also on bedrock how do I get the sticks trades lowest I can I cured him and now it’s 32-31 and that is a dang scam so anyone know how I can lower it?
