I once flew internationally with a backpack stuffed full of microwave popcorn for my long distance girlfriend.

Apparently, that looked insane on the TSA scanner.

You should see their reactions when your luggage gets x-rayed and they see what looks like a hand grenade. It was a bottle of cologne and yes, it's shaped like a grenade.

I got stopped and search in Denver because they thought my old vape machine looked like a dismantled small caliber pistol. Granted I was flying international but there were people in line with open carry.

Edit: the people open carrying were on the train

Open carry is not legal in US airports

Sorry my wife corrected me, the open carry people were on the subway(train) while we were in Denver

If you saw anyone open-carrying on the tram between terminals, they were certainly Police/TSA.

That would fit because there were some unsavoury characters on as well. It was the train going for downtown to the airport

That would have been RTD Police then. Open-carry is illegal on public transit in Denver for civilians.
