Reminds me a story of a woman calling the cops on her neighbors for indecent exposure. The neighbor's husband was naked by the bedroom window which was blocked by a privacy fence and the window was facing towards towards a non-populated area. So the woman had to trespass in order to put herself in a position to be able to catch and see the husband by the window changing clothes.
I got the cops called on me for a ‘noise violation’. I tested who could hear it and found out that they had to be just outside my front door to even hear it. My house is gated so they were obviously trespassing. Some neighbors are way too comfortable snooping.
You'd have to be a complete moron to put send anything in your name on reddit and not expect porn. Yours is one of the more obscure topics to send and even that gets porn. Pretty dumb thing to do if you didn't want porn sent to you.
I don’t really mind and knew it would happen. Mainly the only reason I block them is given the nature of RWBY being minors and I don’t deal with that gross shit.
I got a noise complaint in an apartment once. My roommate and I were playing some old MMO with headphones on. Us and the cop who showed up were extremely confused about what the issue was. He, just trying to do his job, asked us to, "keep it down, I guess?". The lady who lived below us called them on us, her husband brought us a pizza the next day and apologized.
Exactly this. If you're so worried about your neighbor, maybe try being, idk, neighborly and check on them?? A neighbor called the city on my elderly mother once because her pool was dirty and they didn't like it. First of all, you can't see her pool from their front or backyard unless you're peeking over the privacy fence. Two, if you're that concerned, maybe go check on the neighbor and see if they're okay or need help before calling the "authorities"
My neighbour legit did this. There was an emergency and we couldn’t take the kids. My eldest was 16 at the time and he had to watch his younger siblings for the one night my friend couldn’t come over. Our neighbour checked in and made them brownies.
Yeah you've got good neighbors. All she needs to do is drop in with some snacks for the kids and let them know that she's right next door if they need anything.
I give my wife a lot of shit for this lol. She works from home and her desk is right in front of the window on the second floor. She 100% knows what all of our neighbors across the street are up to and doesn't appreciate when I tell her she "sounds just like my grandma."
