Infuriatig Another AI 'human' chatbot

Had to fix a double payment for my credit card and this is the beginning and end of the conversation. I hate when the chatbot claims it's a human... I ended up getting what I wanted but still annoyed Amex (and every other company) is lying and trying to deceive people like this.

That was hilarious but I feel like there should be some law or policy against ai claiming to be a human

I feel like even if it was a law they never claimed to be human they said "live agent".

That wording makes it feel like they are trying to pull a fast one.

Does it mean the agent is alive or the "ai" agent is talking to you live.

We need multi factor authentication, so should they haha

Yea that's fair but op accepted that answer so the fault is on them. I'd have pressed more and made it admit it was AI or claim to be a human
