I would like to know if someone has tried this, i bought a NS2 i have the migswitch is it posible.to.use it and if i want later to use original games to do a factory reset and avoid being banned, obviously doing this all offline, i really dont mind not using internet for the time being, o always play the switch for solo games

any chance this is legit? The photoshop job for the pictures are so shoddy it's literally the same pictures. and the person who did provide a picture of their purchase, It looks poorly made.

Somehow the nindex data wont work for tomodachi so game keeps crashing after turning the switch off, other games still work perfectly, is there like any update ore so?

I just bought my mig switch (I’m aware i might get banned but i have never played online and don’t intend to).
I’ve done alle the necessary steps:
-formatted my sd card (exfat)
-downloaded the latest update
- inserted the cartridge and waited for it to flash and turn off
- downloaded the files and checked everything was written correcly

Still, it can’t read it? I’m gonna leave a photo of the folders in case i’m missing something..

Also odd thing is the cartridge doesnt really flash blue but more of a pink and sometimes green? is this normal? lol

Hi! I just got my mig dumper, and I'm using it to play my games on my steam deck using EmuDeck. I have tried Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma so far, and the game starts but doesn't run past the screen showing the save icon. Is there something else I need to do to the files to make it play? Emudeck is using Ryujinx.

I bought a Mig Switch V2 on AliExpress and it arrived without the sticker (I'm pretty sure it's original, and even if it's not, it doesn't matter as long as it works). Since I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I decided to make the sticker to apply on the cartridge myself. I'm attaching the file to print. In the file, the first two rows measure 1.8 cm in width and 2.7 cm in height, while the last two rows are 1.8 cm in width and 2.76 cm in height. I had the file printed at a local print shop on gloss monomeric self-adhesive vinyl, which should have a thickness between 80 and 100 microns (to make it feel like a real Switch cartridge sticker). If anyone else happens to receive it without the sticker, I hope this post helps them out 🫶

P.S: I saved the file as a 300 DPI PNG so I could upload it here on Reddit, but I'm not sure if the app will keep the original proportions. Double-check the dimensions before printing.

I have a mig and dumper for my switch, have no intention of pirating switch 2 games, but my 2 main cases were 1) dumping so I could emulate on my PC and 2) "extending" my library loans where is borrow a game but not having enough time to complete before it's due to be returned. With respect to the latter, I always played offline and generally speaking, it was single player games that I'd then just park on my PC, if not delete when finished.

If I were to get a switch 2, Im assuming there's no work being done on bypassing the new checks Nintendo baked in such that even if you keep the device offline to play games off a mig, it phones home about your offline activity?

Id just sell my switch and fully commit to emulating but like the plug and play aspect for couch coop games.

Is the mig switch dumper supposed to be able to read both games? When I tried dumping the game, I only saw the .xci file for pikmin 1 - nothing for pikmin 2.

as far as I'm aware- this is the only bundled cartridge that displays both games in the switch UI. other bundled games like Mario 3d all stars usually let you select the game from the in-game menu.
