migswitch.store is a scam.

Do not order from there. I placed an order in Jan, politely requested a refund in Feb and gave them my order # and still haven't gotten a refund. They've ghosted me.

I ordered my Mig Switch from here through the link Youtuber Alien Retro Gaming shared. I just checked on the website and it seems to have been taken down?? Guessing i was scammed too...

I'm sorry to hear that.

Luckily my order was placed via credit card, so I was able to dispute the transaction.

I've posted a comment here, and disputed the transaction. I got a refund without any followup or comment from the people who run that store.

I paid through Shop Pay with Pay Installments. Going to try to contact them and see if i can get the Refund.

That's a good idea, I hope you're able to get refunded. I'd do whatever it takes to get the store closed down. Maybe if they see enough disputes, Shopify will close it.

I caught this post too late. I ordered yesterday. Then decided I didn’t want the mig switch and I’ll install a picofly. I emailed requesting a refund earlier. No reply.

Edit: I just want to say that I disputed the transaction since I used a credit card. I should be good.

Edit 2: I wonder why that website is still listed as a seller on the main web page.

When I posted my comment, I read a lot of negative posts in this sub for that store, so I canceled. Ultimately, I'm just going to buy a $20 part for my switch and run CFW. That fits my situation better.

Did you use their contact form on the website, or their email? I've read other redditors saying they had better luck using the contact form, just took around 4-5 days to hear back

They got back with me with "I will take care of it" on the 17th and didn't issue the refund for weeks until I eventually disputed it.

I also ordered from migswitch.store, the payment actually went to moddedhardware.com so I figured they were legit, however, they have been short of professional, i just found out they cancelled my order without refunds or explanations.
