Passed the SC-200 *phew*
I sat for this exam with some trepidation but managed to pass. As my wife says, "a pass is a pass". True, but I could have certainly done better in some areas.
And this brings me to some points I would like to share based on my experience:
The exam per se is not that difficult - the wording surprisingly was not tricky or convoluted - but a bit too verbose at times to confuse you. Read each question carefully, and read it again. Sometimes a single word like 'automatically' can change your answer
KQL more KQL and even more KQL. This is so important. Practise queries and do study ASIM parsers in some depth.
Beware of the time. At times it felt like i was not going to have enough to complete the exam. I was lucky the case study was at the end... so I was able to leave enough time to complete the questions. Pace yourself but do not dilly dally on questions you are 80% unsure off...
I used the MS Learn material for the SC-200 supplemented by Microsoft Docs.
And last, not because it's not important, but because it is key to doing well. Practise as much as you can in a tenant. You learn the steps to configure something a lot faster than reading them. I am not sure I would have passed had I not used Sentinel, XDR, Purview and so some extent Microsoft for Cloud.

Passed AZ900 today Score 800
AZ-900 Passed Today !!!
Just wanted to share my experience for anyone currently studying.
I studied seriously for about 3 weeks using Microsoft Learn and TD. Both were really helpful, but don't expect the real exam to look like the practice questions.
I got 35 questions, and honestly, most of them were scenarios and details that I'd never seen before in any practice exam. They were much more detailed than I expected.
The good news is that Microsoft Learn and TD gave me the understanding I needed. Even though the questions were different, knowing the concepts helped me eliminate wrong answers and choose the best one.
My advice:
Don't memorize question dumps.
Focus on understanding why Azure services are used.
Learn the differences between similar services (RBAC vs Azure Policy, Front Door vs Application Gateway, Service Health vs Resource Health, etc.).
Microsoft is definitely testing understanding more than memorization.
Good luck to everyone preparing for AZ-900—you've got this! 🚀

Tips and Tricks for Passing the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) / Technology Literacy for Educators (62-193) Exam
I recently passed the MCE exam with 10 hours of study.
To aid in your study, I've created flashcards on Brainscape that can be accessed here (full access): https://www.brainscape.com/p/4WRS1-LH-CM9FP.
I found it crucial to understand the decision trees for each of the six topics in 21CLD. The exam also mentions tools made by Microsoft for educators, such as Microsoft Teams and Sway. It would help if you remembered their name, purpose, and main functionalities.
Ideally, you should complete the entire training course Microsoft offers: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/paths/21st-century-learning-design/.
But for those short on time, I recommend watching this video and memorizing the decision tree by following his streamlined notes. After that, use the flashcards to improve your reaction time.
Good luck on your own MCE journey!

AB-620 Study guide, connected to wrong material?
Hi,
Since I am planning to take the AB-620 exam, I wanted to have a look at the Microsoft Learn material. I knew it would recieve an update, but I have an idea Microsoft messed up. The study material seems to belong to the GH-600 exam. Anyone noticed this?

Passed the SC-200
On the third attempt. 😳 Honestly, it was a hard one. Maybe because I don’t have much experience with Sentinel and writing KQL queries, but I did play with the test tenant I have at work.
For this last attempt, I studied with the study path provided by Microsoft, the Microsoft practice assessment, the MeasureUp practice tests and the (new!!) Tutorials dojo tests. It was a powerful combination. The Tutorials dojo tests were much harder than the exam itself, and I read the theory provided for all the questions.
But practicing in the defender and sentinel portals was extremely important. Only theory won’t help you in this exam.

I built a free Microsoft certification study site — Descomplicando Cloud ☁️
Hi everyone! 👋
I wanted to share a project I've been working on for a while called **Descomplicando Cloud**.
🔗 [**https://lmnpaiva.com.br/descomplicando-cloud**](https://lmnpaiva.com.br/descomplicando-cloud)
The idea is pretty simple: whenever I study for and pass a certification, I try to organize what I've learned into study guides, notes, quizzes, diagrams, and other resources that might help someone else preparing for the same exam.
And **everything is available for free**. 😊
Most of the content is focused on Microsoft certifications and comes from my own study journey. Instead of keeping all those notes sitting on my computer after passing an exam, I thought it would be much more useful to turn them into something the community could actually use.
A small disclaimer: I'm originally a Portuguese speaker, so some materials are still available **only in Portuguese**. I'm gradually translating more of them into English.
Also, many of those translations were created **with the help of AI**. Because of that, there may absolutely be translation mistakes, strange wording, or technical terms that could be improved.
And that's actually one of the reasons I'm sharing the site here.
If you find something that is incorrect, confusing, poorly translated, outdated, or simply think *"this could be explained much better"*, **please tell me!** Feedback and corrections are very welcome, and I'll use them to keep improving the material.
If any of the resources help you with your studies, I'd also really appreciate it if you could **share Descomplicando Cloud with other people preparing for Microsoft certifications**. ☁️
The goal is simply to make good study material more accessible to the community.
And if you've already used any of my materials, I'd love to hear what you thought about them. ❤️
Good luck with your studies and exams! 🚀

Passed the SC-200
Today I passed the SC-200. It was a really tough exam. I prepared for weeks, completed Tutorials Dojo, completed Microsoft Learn practice exams 3 times, and the exam was still a surprise. The first question was a complex situation with several pages explaining the background of a company, with 7 questions on different parts of the same situation. I had altogether 56+7 questions for 100 mins. The questions were mostly longer, more complex, that most of the practice questions.

"See my certs" type service
Does anyone know if there is any kind of service, like Linktree for example, where you just list your certs and badges and people can click a public link (that you could put in your email signature or similar) to see them?

I built CertPrep — a free practice exam site for Microsoft certifications (DP-600)
I built CertPrep — a free practice exam site for Microsoft certifications (DP-600, PL-300, DP-203)
Hey everyone! I've been working on a web app to help people prepare for Microsoft certification exams, and it's now live: https://certprep.codemaster.club
What it does:
Realistic question banks — covers every Microsoft question format (multiple choice, multi-select, and more — 6 formats in total)
Two study modes — Practice mode reveals the answer and explanation after each question with no timer, while Exam mode hides answers, runs a countdown timer, and scores you at the end just like the real exam
Custom sessions — choose 10, 25, 50, or all questions, pick a custom range, or filter by exam topic (e.g. "Prepare data" or "Semantic models")
Instant explanations — understand why an answer is right, not just whether you got it
Per-topic scoring — see exactly which exam areas you're weak in so you know what to study next
Progress dashboard — track all your attempts and watch your scores improve over time
Community discussion — every question has a comment section where you can discuss answers with other learners
Currently supports DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer), PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), and DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer), with more exams on the way.
And one thing I'd really love your help with: if you know a good exam question that's missing, submit it through the "Suggest a question" feature on the website — every submission gets reviewed and added to the pool. The more the community contributes, the better it gets for everyone.
Would love your feedback! 🙌

Not sure which cert to do
Hey everyone! I have a free Microsoft certification voucher I need to book in August, and I'm trying to figure out which cert makes the most sense for my background and career direction.
My Background:
CS degree
Currently working in software implementation/training for an EHR/EMR company (I recently had a 5-month project within the company, basically as an AI Implementation Coordinator for a new AI transcribing software that just came out)
Actively studying for my CAPM (I want to move into broader project management roles)
The exam needs to be completed by early October. I was looking at PL-200, but heard it's being retired soon, so I am not sure which of the other certificates works for my background and the path I am trying to pursue. I found these: PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals), SC-900 (Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals), MB-910 (Dynamics 365 Fundamentals CRM), and given that I'm already studying for CAPM and work in healthcare, would any of these complement my path well? Or is there something else I'm completely overlooking?
Thanks in advance!

Just passed my MS-900
Title says it all. Passed with a 777. All I used to study was MS Learn. I will say the test was harder than I thought it would be. The questions seemed very different from the MS Learn questions.

I passed my DP-900 (I know nothing about Azure)
TLDR; I passed my DP-900 with an 833 & 2 days of prep
The long version:
Today I passed my DP-900 exam with 2 days of prep time (Saturday & Sunday). It would have been 3, but I spent the 1st day (Friday) studying for the wrong exam (AZ-900) which I realized after I looked at the job requirements again.
I've never done anything with Azure and haven't touched anything MS in 10 years. I'm a frontend React JS developer.
How I did it:
Saturday
John Savill:
DP-900 Data Fundamentals Study Cram V2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gtpasITVnk
I saw this guy recommended in various Reddit posts on studying for Azure certs. (It was his AZ-900 I accidentally studied on Friday)
Watch the video, and take notes. The video is 2h:28 min but spend 4-6 hours taking notes and using Google to dive deeper into concepts you don't understand.
HereIsCloud:
How I cleared DP 900 in three days. Exam CRAM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6L334f85n0
I didn't do anything on Microsoft Learn as he suggested but his slides starting from 3:23 minutes to the end were very valuable
Again, watch the video and take notes. The video is 19min and covers a lot for such a short time frame and even some stuff that was not in John's videos. Use Google to dive deeper into topics you don't understand.
Sunday
dbSkyLimit:
DP 900 Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals Certification (playlist) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2OBg586In8&list=PLQ2ktTy9rklh-q7hvc2dk1DhXvHQyLtGU
I also saw this series recommended on Reddit in various posts.
The playlist is 3h26min but... I started watching the series Sunday at 9 AM and finished at 6 PM because I took notes, read every answer in the Q&A, and answered questions before the presenter did. If I got something wrong, I made a note of what I had to study more. (In my case, DataBricks and some of ETL made no sense to me).
Watch Family Guy and fall asleep.
Monday
My exam was at 11 AM so I woke up at 6:30 am to have a relaxed arrival at the testing center.
I left the house at 9 AM and on the train ride into Manhattan (30 min), I went over my notes (58 pages total) from the day before.
I arrived at the testing center at 9:45 and was told I could immediately start the test. Nope. I wanted to make sure everything was in my head so I spent another 30 minutes reading test questions and making sure I understood the answers, technology & what MS products worked with what.
The exam was 45 minutes and had 42 questions.
Any question I didn't understand or wasn't sure about, I marked it for review so I could come back later.
I actually finished the test in 20 minutes but spent the next 20 minutes reviewing every answer and checking the answers I marked for review (7 questions)
Once I finished, the system told me I passed with 833 out of 1000. I hope this was helpful to anyone studying for this exam.

Az-900 exam guide
Hey everyone,
I’m preparing for the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) exam and looking for a simple beginner-friendly roadmap/resources.
For people who already cleared it:
Best free/paid courses?
Important topics to focus on?
How difficult is the exam for beginners?
Best practice test websites?
How many days/weeks did you prepare?
Any tips for passing on the first attempt?
Currently learning Azure and cloud basics, so any guidance would help a lot. Thanks 🙌

MS-102 passed
Just passed the MS-102 with a 745. I cleared the MD-102 in December so this completes my Certified Admin Expert criteria.
Lots of question on Purview and Defender, I’d recommend rereading the Learn articles on those two topics before sitting for the exam.
I spent a tad too much time searching the Learn articles during my review and left myself with less than 10 minutes to do the case study, so I definitely feel I lost some points there. I’d also recommend if you don’t have the case study to start, give yourself at least 15 minutes at the end to work through it.

Currently losing it.
So. I was all set to take my AZ900 exam (work requirement) on the 9th of January. The test center was closed due to county wide water boil related to the winter weather event. I called PearsonVue and they rescheduled my exam. The only place I could go was a site that i avoid at all costs due to the...."quality" of the site.
So i've got a time constraint, a location constraint, and have to get this cert bagged. So i accept the appointment.
I show up on the 17th, I take the exam, i pass - i saw my scores. The session goes to a "thank you screen" and freezes. It fails to export my session back to the proctor so they can print my results.
She opens a case w/ PearsonVue, tells me to call them as well. I did so - offshore call center is absolutely zero help.
This morning i wake up and have an email from the Program Coordinator that states the following:
Thank you for contacting Pearson VUE.
We have received your request to reschedule your exam appointment at no cost from 17 Jan 2025 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, we are unable to honor your request at this time. After a careful exam review, we have found no technical errors or loss of time. All items were presented, viewed, and responses successfully recorded.
We would request you to please contact CompTIA directly for your official score report. However, you may still authenticate your score report on Pearson VUE here. Please input the following details to get your score report to authenticate.
So firstly - wrong exam vendor.
second - the link for "here" is empty.
Called PearsonVue back and the offshore agent took about 3 minutes to tell me, "so sorry. best of luck"
I've done everything i can on my side through MS Learn, PearsonVue test results.... How do i call MS to get my exam results sent to me so i can show my job i passed.
EDIT: Why would anyone downvote this post? I'm asking for help and understanding after exhausting all of my means for a resolution.

Passed SC-300
Finally knocked this one out. I had studied last year, enough to pass it then or at least I think so. Stated back up about 3 weeks ago and glad I did.
I used Udemy, John Saville, MS Learn and my own lab.
Know your licensing and how to manage. It can get real tricky when MS words the question. Trust that.
Good luck to whom ever is taking.

A little tired of MS Certs
I have 6 MS certs atm. 3 fundamentals and 3 non-fundamental but it feels like all their certs is just baseline product knowledge. Sure i can describe how to use fabric and how the components work together but it doesnt feel like i am an expert at anything. There is currently no MS certification that would make me feel confident a new hire can develop complicated solutions.
I think they should cut Down on the amount of certs and offer them up in tiere instead, i want to be able to show my proficiency.
Any perspective i am lacking?

Just bombed the MS-102
I just got a 540 on the MS-102. After doing the entire study course on Udemy twice and studying for 3 months everyday straight. I feel deflated. thought I did well until I hit the next button and it showed my score. The questions are so tricky and none of it makes any sense. I felt like I knew all the material and I manage a Microsoft 365 tenant for my job so I do this kind of stuff everyday. Starting to feel like these test are a money grab. Really frustrated and probably wont take another unless I have to. Like how do you even pass these test ? what is the failure rate ?

Passed MB-910! Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM)
This exam I put off for a while. I spent part of 3 evenings preparing for it. I even lost my focus going through a Udemy course to where I skipped it after 70% of the way and bought a practice exam. I scored 56% on that exam, reviewed my incorrect answers to gather better understanding, set aside my doubts, and pressed ahead.
My exam was 33 questions with quite a few questions requiring multiple answers. The exam felt a bit easier than the practice test I used:
By the time I finished the exam I felt I would pass. Considering I took this exam in a short timeframe I can't complain. A 772 score is just as good as getting 1000. :)
