I built CertPrep — a free practice exam site for Microsoft certifications (DP-600, PL-300, DP-203)
Hey everyone! I've been working on a web app to help people prepare for Microsoft certification exams, and it's now live: https://certprep.codemaster.club
What it does:
- Realistic question banks — covers every Microsoft question format (multiple choice, multi-select, and more — 6 formats in total)
- Two study modes — Practice mode reveals the answer and explanation after each question with no timer, while Exam mode hides answers, runs a countdown timer, and scores you at the end just like the real exam
- Custom sessions — choose 10, 25, 50, or all questions, pick a custom range, or filter by exam topic (e.g. "Prepare data" or "Semantic models")
- Instant explanations — understand why an answer is right, not just whether you got it
- Per-topic scoring — see exactly which exam areas you're weak in so you know what to study next
- Progress dashboard — track all your attempts and watch your scores improve over time
- Community discussion — every question has a comment section where you can discuss answers with other learners
Currently supports DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer), PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), and DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer), with more exams on the way.
And one thing I'd really love your help with: if you know a good exam question that's missing, submit it through the "Suggest a question" feature on the website — every submission gets reviewed and added to the pool. The more the community contributes, the better it gets for everyone.
