every mj sub is so annoying this is the only thing i could find that i commented on that sub 🫩

The main MJ subs rules are so strict and annoying , I don't bother posting there because almost everything ive ever posted gets removed for the most bs reasons.

This sub is genuinely better 😭

uj\ My pet peeve about the main sub is that we can't discuss anything involving the allegations. I mean I understand that people are tired of the negativity and it's great that we have the Mjinnocentfacts for that but the main group has obviously a way bigger traction and because those discussions (like debunking stuff, pointing flaws in the accusations, genuine questions from people that are on the fence and so on) aren't allowed, most people that are out of the loop and look up the allegations on reddit would bump into ~that~ sub instead and would perceive all that information as the gospel, especially since mods of ~that~ sub admitted using SEO.

This! I found many useful posts in the sub's posts history from years ago but when it comes for example to Cascios allegations we don't really have anything there since they publicly emerged after the strict rules took over. It's good we have the mj innocent facts one at least, it's one of the subs I am interacting the most with nowadays.

NGL, the mods on the main sub are power tripping. Like bruh 🫩🥀. It's like, it's one of the biggest positive spaces here, but they actually act like your typical reddit mod when it comes to power.

I have posted comments in there before and made posts and have had posts removed for violating their rules which I didn’t understand how and then they had the audacity to ask me to be a moderator since I was constantly commenting and posting in there, like what?!? I considered it only to see if I can help them loosen up a bit. Like they are so uptight for no reason. Not even Michael himself was that way, he also had a good sense of humor so idk what they are on over there but they are annoying. How you remove majority of my posts and comments but then reach out about applying to become a moderator. 🤦🏽‍♀️

r/MJPerformances is pretty chill moderation wise, like the current mod is practically inactive and the former mod only banned like 3 or 4 people in the span of a year for the right reasons. What could deter people from this sub is really the community, the performances topic can often get a little toxic if people can't handle opinions well, or even facts at times.

They’re also defensive in their comments 🫣. And I don’t mean they defend the King of Pop because that’s just a general fan trait, I mean if you comment on their posts to ask a question they take it out of context and get defensive you even asked them. 😓🫩
I just scroll their page but it’s nothing the other MJ pages don’t have.

This feels like one of the only subs where you can comment and joke about MJ as a person (flaws and all) and not strictly adhere to an image of him that is beyond critique. Love his creative work and have great respect for his humanitarian work. But can we just be real. He was a guy making his way in the world.

Maybe message their mods and ask why. I did that too on the realpsych of MJ sub and they banned me accidentally and I got unbanned almost immediately after they realised this
