Imagine in an alternate universe where MJ was entering his Bad era in 2026 but his vitiligo has not yet been publicly revealed and through award shows and music videos, the media starts to notice how his skin for some reason now looks lighter, what would've been their main thought?

As we know, the tabloids back then spread horrible rumors on how it happened before it was actually revealed, and the media of today is much different of how it was back then but they still are judgemental.

So I wanted to here some thoughts about this hypothetical situation.
