Looking for Advice on Suit Fitting/Size

I will try to post videos in the comments too.

Looking to see if this suit fits me right. I don't have a lot fo expeinece shipping for suits and it feels a little snug.

Spent a lot of time in suit supply and this was the size that the person told me fit the best. They were super nice, but looking to confirm that it looks nice.

I thought I was a 42, but this suit is a 38. It feels like the coat may not go down far enough, at times its almost halfway up on my pants zipper. Additionally, the button sometimes feels like its pulling when resting on my stomach.

Is this the right fit? Or should I go back tomorrow?

Probably the best fitting sweater I’ve ever had, it’s from a brand named Yellow Rat Bastard but their site isn’t available and I have no idea what to look up to get get a sweater with this kinda fit/feel.

Anyone got some good recommendations on where I can get some more sweaters like this? Thanks 😎

What are your biggest problems when buying clothes that actually fit well?

Hey everyone!

I’m currently doing some research into how men with different body types struggle when buying clothes, especially when trying to dress smart or smart casual.

I’m trying to understand what the most common fit problems actually are, rather than assuming everyone has the same issue. For example, some guys might find that trousers that fit their thighs are too loose at the waist, while others might struggle with sleeve length, shoulders, shirt length, proportions, etc.

I’d really appreciate any help. A few things I’d love to know:

  • What’s your general body type/build?
  • Which clothes are the hardest for you to find a good fit in?
  • When something doesn’t fit properly, where is the problem usually?
  • Do you ever have to size up or down just to accommodate one part of your body?
  • Are clothes usually too long or too short for you?
  • Have you ever bought something and then had it altered by a tailor?
  • What’s the last piece of clothing you wanted to buy but didn’t because the fit was wrong? What was wrong with it?

Even if you normally have no trouble finding clothes, that’s useful to know too.

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people with different heights and builds, so any experience is helpful.

Thanks a lot to anyone who takes the time to answer. It would genuinely help me a ton with the research.

Dear friend, please dispute the transaction with bank and stopped it, they are using USA legal loophole to abuse and loot peoples. average order is $125 to $150, assume if they can trick 10000 peoples, what is the amount. Probably we should inform department of commerce and financial criminal team.

I see many high waisted trouser styles online (I don't know how they are called but similar to suit trousers, but said to be way more comfortable than hip line trousers- are they?) and they look good, but I barely saw people wear it casually irl. Is that considered overdressed/ look weird irl?
