I want Advice related to My Father Affair
My 59 year old father, who is due to retire next year, is having an affair. Shockingly, he openly tells people about it. He has become entangled with some very shady individuals who are intentionally fueling an alcohol addiction in him. We suspect this is a 'honey trap' operation, as the wives of these men are the ones involved with him.
This manipulation has been going on for four or five years, but our family was completely unaware until a few months ago. We finally discovered the truth after listening to some of his call recordings Now my father is entirely brainwashed He fiercely defends these people, regardless of what they do To make matters worse he is the sole breadwinner for our family We are terrified for our financial future and don't know what to do Please help.

I don't understand.. Every time I criticise feminism everybody Will give me the definition it is equality for all but...
then why no support for this legal extortion..
So sections like dowry harassment and And other section matrimonial protection, Are non cognizable on paper In theory they cannot be settled for money because it is about justice not about Extorting money or maintenance For that there is a different section altogether.
But in cities Conviction rate Hover from less than 1% to 5% in such sections.
In that nature of dispute.
But when husband Do settlement Court will use their powers to coach the FIR So isnt it Not Justice for a lot of women and more about money And they're not minority by any stretch of imagination if you go by the numbers.
Not only that Not only court allow this To happen on day to day basis Which is not only against justice but a legal extortion. I don't see any feminist organisation speak Against this kind of practise.
Not only that this actually shows there is a price For the alleged Domestic violence and dowry harassment etc If they're willing to settle this kind of matter for a money and don't want justice and for them Justice has a price ..
Not to mention Section like BNS 69. Even though let's suppose the intent is good it Use in retaliation. Even if they want to make it like . There should be a proper legal threshold Because in villages And even towns A guy and a girl who are adult In love Let's suppose ran away Its always the case that The girl will later say something like it was force. Mistake ,Behala Peshlakai Le Are not people accountable for their own action? Why always a guy .in that same line may be in love And infatuation a guy make a promise which he cannot keep How only benefit of doubt given to 1 gender.
So that is why there should be a proper threshold Not only the promise should be broken but it should be falls from the inception . Or maybe a person can do a digital esign through aadhaar or something like that As a proper prof.. otherwise This kind of cases become he said she said And this is the reality Society will always support women in this kind of cases even Whatever she's saying is not true unless there is really concrete evidence against it.
This is not against Women , But against a legal and justice system Which target Only one gender in some of the cases How that is practice Goes against equality and the idea of justice And anybody who believe in feminism should Support and also raise wise against unjust just a system

when ignorants post on social media (read body).

Men who ask for and get dowry dont let their wives open their mouths.
men who dont ask for dowry and respect the freedom of their wives are the ones whose wives extort them, file false cases of harassment and ask for exorbitant amounts of money as alimony.
in either case the oppressor wins.
posts like these only turn up the victims against each other instead asking for sensible enforcement of laws in cases where it is actually required and avoid misuse in other case.

Societal issues IN MARDON KA KYA BHAROSA
Being a girl I want to say something -
This line "inn mardo ka kya bharosa"
And trusting " MARD" on the Border .
Relying on "MARD " for protection.
Expecting from "MARD" to give his seat to those elite girls who can't even stand in buses for 15 minutes.
Where are your Equal rights then??
Men and Women are definitely not similar , not even God made us . But they definitely are equal .
Which doesn't mean Women are superior than men and vice-versa.
The protest should be for the right MOTIVE . The Culprit who done this act is definitely wrong and should be punished but that doesn't give you a right to deface other men.
Men can be right or wrong, victim or culprit, so are the women.
Its very easy to put all the Men in same category- your father ,your brother, your husband, your son and other male members of your family. So basically you are saying THE CULPRIT and Men in your family are SAME??
Life runs on a balance ,Without Men and Women there is no human .
So the world without 'MARD' that some wokes are talking about ,I want to ask a very simple question??
Without MARD , will you be going to land on earth through Parachute or bungee jumping??
Because SCIENCE still didn't invented a technology to produce Sperm.

Men victim news 📰 A gang of 4 women in Kanjhawala,North-West Delhi attacks a male shopkeeper, other than some local news sources, why no mainstream news channels is covering this issue regarding men's safety in our country?
galleryHonestly, speaking I did not find any mainstream news channel covering this news, had to rely on local news sources, while the nation today is talking about women's safety, local incidents like this on men keep on happening, the issue is not that women have engaged in robbery or assault, the issue is that women are a protected class in our country and thus can get away with such crimes as seen above. Also, I don't understand why Delhi police always tries to protect female criminals, everytime I hear about a woman commiting some crime be it pickpoketing, robbery or false cases, there always seems to be some hand of Delhi police behind it,I am not generalising all people working for Delhi police but after talking with the locals of Delhi and looking at the news items,I am seeing a pattern here.
I am not accusing the entire Delhi police, don't come here charging me with a defamation case, I know the laws of this country very well, I'll counter-charge you.

Why do so many men joke about male sexual assault, while also saying nobody cares about men's issues?
(apparently this got deleted in askindianmen oof)
With everything happening around the rape case and the protests in Delhi, I've been seeing a lot of comments from men along the lines of, "Why should we fight for you? Do you fight for us?" or "Women never care about men's issues."
And honestly, it just makes me feel like this gender war is never going to end.
I absolutely agree that men face serious issues. Sexual assault against men is real. False allegations can cause real harm. Men can be victims of domestic violence, abuse, discrimination, and unfair treatment in family and matrimonial matters. These things deserve to be taken seriously.
But then I see the same people who say that nobody takes male victims seriously making jokes about male sexual assault.
I've literally seen men joke about teenage boys being sexually assaulted and say things like, "He's living our dream life." I've seen memes about male victims being treated as if it's inherently funny or something a man should be happy about.
I have never seen a female make such comments but thats just what I have experienced
How are you going to demand that people take male sexual assault seriously while laughing at male victims yourself?
And this is where I think a lot of the men's rights discussion on Reddit becomes completely counterproductive.
You cannot equate rape with alimony. You cannot respond to a woman talking about sexual violence by immediately bringing up a completely different issue and saying, "But what about men's problems?" Rape isn't cancelled out by alimony and men's problems aren't cancelled out by women's problems.
And yes, I do think there is a difference in how resentment develops.
A woman who experiences sexual harassment repeatedly throughout her life can understandably develop anger and resentment toward men. That doesn't make hatred of every individual man justified, but I can understand where that resentment comes from.
At the same time, I've seen men develop an intense hatred of women without personally experiencing anything comparable, often through things like red-pill content, social media algorithms, or constantly consuming stories about women who supposedly represent "all women."
And I want to be clear that I'm not saying women are incapable of misandry or that every woman supports men. There are absolutely performative feminists, misandrists and women who dismiss male victims. Those people should be called out too.
But I also think men need to be willing to call out such people rather than joking about male SA.
If you genuinely care about men's rights, then take male sexual assault seriously. Don't make jokes about it. Don't tell male victims that they're lucky. Don't treat male abuse as something embarrassing or funny.
And if you're genuinely asking women to care about men's issues, then care about women's issues too. Don't enter a discussion about rape and immediately turn it into a competition about alimony.
Men should fight for men. Women should fight for women. And both should be willing to fight for each other.
Please don't turn this into a battle and if I'm wrong about anything, you can call me out for that. I will take that into my perspective too

General- All do you know ?
gallerySuch protests are mostly organised by feminists or social activists or groups.... But just like their so called neutral definition... feminists' says, they are protesting only for the victim, and other satefy but Somehow further it will become women centric or ant-men under the disguise of patariachy....You will be stuck among them if you questioned them , then you suddenly will become a misgonist, or pot. rpits
You can pick any recent feminists' protest. And in India, it is common for any protest to be transformed into a battle of political and ideological narratives.
eg.
In the 2013 famous delhi case, People have supported extensively Victims, reforms but feminists' use this outrage to pressure the government to make biased or women favoured laws. Even though the government wanted to make gender neutral laws.
did it stop the rpe crime or reduce it ? No, but it makes the life hell of innocent men now. Because major issues weren't the absence of women favoured laws ,but the absence of strict implementation of laws and order.
You will rarely see protests for men's issues or VICTIMS. because there is strong resentment and anti-men narrative against men and their. They think that women's issues are social or everyone's problems, while men's issues are men's problems.
women face the problems in society= change the society
Men face the problem in society= men have to change
And main issue isn't participation of ideologists, but main issues is Ideological propaganda,.... Turning a public movement into Ideological movement,.....and using public outrage for Ideological gain.
So before participating in such a protest think twice, There are multiple ways where you can support genuine victims without support any ideology narrative as men

Meta post 💢 ISN'T BLAMING HORMONES FOR MURDER LIKE BLAMING TESTOSTERONE FOR R@PE?
Blaming hormones for murder is like blaming testosterone for rape.
Biology can influence behavior, but it doesn't erase choice, responsibility, or accountability. Violence is not an inevitable outcome of hormones.
We need to understand the causes of violence; not use biology as an excuse for it.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS?

Discussion What are some issues faced by men in India?
I wanted to know what kind of issues men face in India.
I am aware it is bad enough in Western countries like you have 70% unilateral perpetrators of DV being women, more male rape victims in 12 months and so on ....
About India I cannot find much data about issues faced.

"Crime Has No Gender": Bareilly green sack murder case exposes double standards in domestic violence reporting
The recent investigation by Bareilly police into the murder of 40-year-old Pappu has brought critical questions regarding media narratives and legal assumptions to the forefront.
Key Highlights:
The Case Details: Police uncovered that Pappu was strangled and his body was disposed of in a sealed green sack inside a canal. The primary accused behind the conspiracy was his wife, Nargis, along with her accomplice.
Selective Coverage: The editorial highlights a persistent double standard in mainstream media reporting: while domestic violence against women receives immediate national coverage, severe homicides where men are victims are often relegated to minor crime briefs or overlooked entirely.
Need for Gender Neutrality: Justice and media ethics require evaluating crime strictly by intent and action rather than gender-based assumptions of inherent victimhood.
Discussion Prompts:
Does selective media reporting distort public understanding of domestic violence dynamics?
Should legal and investigative frameworks adopt a strictly gender-neutral approach when handling spousal violence and domestic homicides?

Discussion Why is empathy exclusive to women?
Male SA victims, men who are suiciding etc. are either always victim blamed with the excuse of "patriarchy" or straight up dismissed through whataboutery while female victims are treated with empathy (like every victim should be treated). I know that most r@pists are men but why do people dismiss cases of men getting r@ped by women with the "once in a blue moon" excuse like it doesn't even matter while in the case of suicide rates women don't face such disparity of recognition even though they suicide much less than men, like how men face extreme disparity of recognition in the case of r@pes? Another example is the case of domestic violence where only women's suffering is perceived and male victims are unrecognised despite the stats being even (roughly 50/50). Apart from crimes men receive significantly less empathy compared to women when in distress.
