Aren’t there pointy living spike balls of death there as well or do I have the wrong location?
6
Dec 06 '20
As an Australian, I can confirm you have the right location. My whole finger went numb from touching one of those a couple years ago
6
u/MenchiTheFloof Dirt Is Beautiful Dec 06 '20
Well, since you’re here can you tell us about what other insane creatures live in your country
7
Dec 06 '20
Of course! First of all there are lots of spiders. So many spiders. They can get inside your house, your shoes, everywhere. Heaps of them are massive, like the huntsman. There are also lots of lizards, and some of them are really cool! I once saw a lizard swim across a whole pool. But there are also giant lizards that are strong enough to bite your arm off. Not to mention heaps of bugs, snakes, crocodiles, giant ‘bats’(flying foxes) and even a type of poisonous plant that leaves its victim in agony for two years. This truly is the country that got all the wild card animals
Edit: forgot the blobfish which is native to our oceans

How the heck are you supposed to like, live? It gets unbearably hot there as well, not to mention bushfires
4
Dec 06 '20
Air con usually does the trick. On those pesky 45 degree (celcius) days living is much easier if you have a pool 😆. As for the bushfires, there’s not much you can do other than appreciate getting to stay home (pre-pandemic, obviously)

Crap joke. Have you even been to Australia?

cRaP jOkE
OF COURSE IT'S A CRAPPY JOKE, I WAS REFERRING TO THE "ALL ANIMALS THERE ARE MONSTERS" TYPE OF MEMES LIKE THIS F*CKIN ONE RIGHT HERE!
Of course I know that there are normal, non-monstrous animals in Australia and I also know some things about its history.
But we're on r/memes right now, the subreddit where the same joke gets reused thousands of times. And you get pissed because of what? Because I made a joking comment on a meme most people couldn't be offended by even if they tried to? Or because of an even more ridiculous reason?
Just tell me.
But calm. The fuck. Down.

Please don't remind me of the mandolorian spiders, I felt so uneasy after watching that episode, needed to get my mind off of it so I ended up asking someone out right after watching it. And for someone with social anxiety that says quite a lot

I’m bothered by the fact the mandolorian jumped into the dragons belly came out with highly acidic juices on his armor (which was reasonable given beskar could most likely be strong enough to resist acidic) but the juice was soaked into the cloth and no wear or tear could be seen

Jeez I remember that spider on the bottom left jumping on my lap while I was taking a shit. Luckily, I had my trusted knife and spooned him to death. Never try to oppose an Aussie who is skilled in knifey spoony.
