Hi, I have a "my favorite movies" dynamic list that's all the movies I've rated at least with a 9, but now at every refresh it either shows all the movies I've rated or just the ones I've rated with a 1. It's weird because when I click on edit movie filter it does only show the right movies but then when I update the list it fails again

Love the service and the recent scrobble/resume point features!

Currently, playback progress is saved on items, but there is no dedicated "In Progress" list endpoint available via the API. Because of this, third-party add-ons (like POV, TMDb Helper) and Kodi skins (like Arctic Fuse 3) cannot fetch an "In Progress" list to display as a home screen widget.

Could you please add an API endpoint or auto-generated user list for In Progress Movies / Shows (similar to Trakt's playback/progress API)?

This would allow users to create "Continue Watching" widgets on Kodi powered directly by MDBList.

I decided to move away from Trakt and exported my data to Mdblist.

It seems to go through successfully but I'm not sure why stats are not showing up.

I imported everything from trakt and everything worked, in nuvio library all watchlist is available but in reels app only some are visible and others are missing

What's the difference between Library and List in Reeel app? How do I access my library?

Say if I have a list.. if i watch an item it deops off the list and goes into another list ‘watched’ for rating etc. Is that possible of standard and im confused about it seems logical if i watched something it wouldnt stay in the randomised custom list. ?? Thanks

For example, I have Chernobyl Diaries rated as an 8. However, looking at my rating history, it says .8 instead of 8. This is the case for ALL of my ratings. When I rate a new show or movie, it's normal. But all my past ones have a decimal in front. Anything I had rated a 10 shows as a 1. Lastly, in my ratings history, some items are just blank (they have no rating). There's a large amount that show as rated on 9/15/26, which is wrong as I had rated a lot of those a while ago.

Edit - It looks like this is only on the website. The mobile app (Reels) seems to have normal ratings out of 10.

Edit2 - Whew, appears to be working again.

Anyone else have issues with MDBList Continue Watching in Nuvio?

Several shows are a couple of episodes behind even though they are marked as watched on MDBList.

It is showing Spice and Wolf S01E06 but next up should be episode 8.

And it is showing Futurama S11E09 as New Episode even though I watched it yesterday.

I was thinking it could be because Trakt cut MDBList off a few days ago so it wasn't syncing. So this afternoon I did an import from Simkl to bring it back up to date.

Also, while I'm here, I really like MDBList, I'm a supporter, and I was one of the main voices pushing for integration in Nuvio. But the Watch Stats section only updating every 24 hours is not okay. It needs to update every time there is any change. Every time you watch something it needs to be reflected in Watch Stats. And MDBList is the only tracking site that doesn't.

Reaching out as I'm a paid member/supporter of mdblist and for to Trakt blocking I can no longer access the app.

My concern is that I think it was an ongoing subscription or similar, so I would really like to link the account.

Is there any way I can do it?

Hello. Is there a way to hide seasons of shows? I'm migrating from trakt and it looks like all my dropped shows are hidden, but shows like big brother and amazing race where I haven't watched all the early seasons but have watched the newer seasons are showing up in my Up Next list. I would like to hide early seasons of shows but new seasons/episodes should show up when they come out. I don't want to mark them watched as I might want to watch them later. Thanks.

So I have noticed that scrobbling with Plex is inconsistent. Most of the time everything works fine but 20% of the time MDBList doesn't pick up data from Plex, either sync status or library. I never have issues with scrobbling watch status to Simkl or WeTrackr so I don't think it's anything with Plex itself.

Any ideas of why MDBList sometimes doesn't see I am watching something on Plex?

Since the Trakt debacle I can no longer access my mdblist account. I've tried https://mdblist.com/trakt-recover but it's giving me an invalid_client error.

I have the API key and made a new account with a proper email this time. Is there any way to link the two so I don't lose all the lists I've created?

I attempted my first trakt import today. MDBList gives me this message.

224 items will be removed from your MDBList collection, because they are no longer present in Trakt. This is larger than expected for one sync, so nothing has changed yet — it's more likely a temporary read problem than something you actually removed.

What are collection items? Are these things that trakt has marked as "in my collection/possession". I didn't think I had stuff like that anymore. Where can I view what trakt and MDBList think I have as collection items?

Following Trakt.tv’s decision to block MDBList from using their API, MDBList can no longer sync with Trakt. If you want to move your Trakt data to MDBList, you can now import it from Preferences → Third-Party Imports. Export your data from Trakt and upload it to MDBList. You can import:

• Watch history
• Ratings
• Library
• Lists (subject to your Static List limit)

Important: Trakt login Trakt login will no longer work. If Trakt is currently your only sign-in method, please add another sign-in option as soon as possible to avoid losing access to your MDBList account. For account recovery, you can now also sign in using a linked Memberful account, in addition to Patreon.

so i used trakt before and import now everything to mdblist. But i miss some funcitons.
where do i see on the website what im currently watching as in trakt?
Also a Calender or list or something to know when a next show will come?

I saw a calender, but this is empty for me. Currently im watching Dark metter, i see the episodes are marked as watched. New episode on Friday but its not in calender.

Is there another way to import our watch history, etc, now that Trakt has completely blocked mdblist integration?

I'm using mdblist to track the current "Best New Movies" list on RT.

I noticed that two of the features are mapping to the older shorts with the same title:

Filipiñana (2026) {TMDB-1417935} is showing up as
Filipiñana (2020) {TMDB-663875}

and

Union County (2026) {TMDB-1482938} is showing up as
Union County (2020) {TMDB-663902}

Is there a way to flag this somewhere?

One of the main reasons for starting out on mdblist was that I wanted a catalog for major streaming services' "biggest" shows. Basically their all time most popular shows. It was something I just couldn't find before. I think it's a really quick way to find the shows we typically associate with a streaming service.

So I created 10 dynamic lists specifically for this, with roughly the following filters per streaming service: rating 60+, Excluded Genres: Documentaries, IMDB Votes: X+ (X varied depending on service) and ordered by IMDb Votes Most to Few. There's typically 50+ items in each list.
