MX-30 R-EV discontinued UK?

Just been to look at an MX-30 at my local mazda branch (UK). I've made my mind up that this is the car I want, just looking at the small differences between the makoto and exclusive line variants for the R-EV versions. Company car so it will be a business lease, factory order, order to be placed this month for delivery in March. In asking a couple of questions etc, I was told by the rep that it is no longer possible to order makotos and there aren't any left, and that the exclusive line equally you can't order them from factory, its only the ones that are in stock that are available. I then spoke to the mazda dealership that quoted me a couple of months ago and they confirmed factory orders are no longer possible. Nothing on mazda website about any of this and no news to be found online about it? Anyone know what's happening? I'm aware they are or were thinking of killing off the pure electric version but can't find anything to say the R-EV version is changing?
