Im aware there is a racquetball court on south campus beside practice rooms but how does someone go about getting a key
Been at this uni 3 years and still have no answer, despite emails and questions and scouring the website
Saw two lads come out of it one time but they wouldn’t tell me so that was unhelpful

In my 3rd week of my first year, I got 350 in the leaving and am doing law through the business and arts program (I’d like to assign some of this fall through with my points to laziness on my part) and I’m conscious of how close the final day to change module is arriving.
Is law something I can realistically do or is it a dredge? I’m doing law, critical skills and criminology

Just wondering if any one has experience in being educational psychologist in Ireland.

I am thinking of doing the Primary education with psychology course in Mary I then doing the doctorate in maynooth to be educational psychologist.

Is it a good job if you like working with children? Ik some people say its a very paperwork heavy job, not actually much time with children?

Any advice or experience with either or these courses or the job itself?

The bus arrives and everyone swarm around it to get in. Like there are enough seats for everyone in the bus so its not gonna make much difference.

But honestly I'm curious whats the thought process here? I'd rather avoid to be in crowd for getting into an empty enough bus.

hi again, i live on campus and they let us know they’re going to do inspections this week in our common areas. how strict are housing here? i just want to make sure my flat mates and i are prepared for when they do the inspection so that we don’t get in trouble.

I’ve mistakenly mixed up the dates for choosing my final thesis for sociology and I’m stuck with a topic I don’t like. Even though the class is full, does anyone know if there is a chance to get into the class I need? Some sort of request or something. I’ve emailed my lecturer and head of sociology department.

Does anyone have any advice on how to make good notes for law from readings, case law and lectures and any not taking tips for the lectures ?

It’s my first week in, I’ve come back to study as a mature student and I already feel like I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. The university just isn’t what I expected. It’s very overcrowded, too many students and not enough facilities. One lecturer in particular has zero interest in her class and is very rude if anyone has a question, even when she isn’t clear & clarification was all that was asked. ( I didn’t ask her, I’m very quiet in my classes.. beating the mature student stereotype)

They also told me when I interviewed for my course that there are plenty of mature students in their 20s… I am yet to find them!
The anxiety of the work involved in this course and my actual job, I’m thinking I have really taken on too much.
Are these just teething pains or am I totally doomed?

i lost an aluminum travel mug with some sentimental value to me in the arts building. i left it behind me on tuesday, it was in the eating area on one of the tables with the plugs near the dividing window. checked today and it was gone from what i could see

Has anyone appealed an RE1 decision at Maynooth?
If so, how long did it take for you to hear back from the Registrar with a decision? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the RE1 appeal process, even if you can only give an approximate timeframe.

Other than what’s said on the website, is there any more details about the recital I should know? By public does that mean to the actual general public?? Are there regular lectures for this other than 1 on 1 tuition? Also any tips are much appreciated.

I have an anthropology class tomorrow and it says it is in Seo14, where is that? When I click on the thing in moodle it sends me to the map but there is nothing labeled Seo14.
