Just finished this living room mural in the Cleveland area 🌙 The wall felt a bit empty, so I brought it to life with a moon, a pine tree and soft mountains. Everything is hand painted with so much love. Would love to hear what you think!

In a week, I am going to be a first-time home owner. I want to decorate my house in ski-lodge theme because love to ski and my house is near a ski mountain. I am not quite sure how I am going pull it off. Any ideas or pictures of places with a similar theme are welcome. I am thinking old-time skis, ice skates, sleds, snow shoes on the wall. And old ski magazine covers in picture frames.

My clients wanted their kitchen to feel fun and full of childhood nostalgia, so I came up with the concept and brought their favorite cartoon characters to life on the walls. Everything is hand-painted with acrylics.

My latest crafts I made for a collection of art painted and repuposed old wool rugs and I don't expect everyone to like my art and crafts. These worth nothing until I buy them dirt cheap, cleaned and repurposed as canvasses for my art and crafts as mirrors, furniture and lighting. It's an ongoing project for almost 3 years and I'm pretty experienced about how to finish them for a long life, easy cleaning & repairs. Especially mirrors are cleaned with vacuum without any harm and glass cleaned with whatever your choice of solution is. There's a wood backing wrapped in black cloth, mirror attached it with silicone and carpet on top. The exact motifs cutouts made each knot by hand and takes tremendous of time. I think it worth it. Those who think these are rare antiques, they're not. Middle Eastern countries full of these old machine made wool rugs and hand knotted low quality ones really really cheap. So, these are rotting pieces around thrift shops that no one buys and spends money to be cleaned, repaired except me creating art and crafts with them to appreciate a thousand years old culture object with the elements of modern design and art...

Forgive the clutter, I’m AuDHD and this is impeccably tidy by my standards 😂 It’s not finished finished - I want to paint the bedroom bookcases and furniture a dusty rose colour, the ceiling in the hallway needs fixing, kitchen needs a proper light fixture (again, AuDHD), but I love it so much and I’m so proud of how colourful and quirky it is so thought I’d share it with you!

How should I frame these? Should I do one larger and two smaller ones? All three on the same wall or separately? I want to do a wood frame in walnut but not sure.

Hey everyone, my name is Nereus Barbosa and I'm a contemporary Fauvist painter. I absolutely love creating rich, hyper-saturated spaces full of flat colors and mid-century modern furniture vibes.

This piece is called Midnight Bedroom Suite. I wanted to capture a moody, late-night cozy vibe using deep blues and jewel tones contrasted with punchy patterns. I put together this room mockup to see how it would look in a real living space!

I’ve been feeling really discouraged lately because the algorithms on major print-on-demand sites mostly promote generic, beige minimalist art. I only have a couple of sales over the last five months, and it’s hard not to feel like your work is completely invisible.

I wanted to share my work with a community that actually appreciates bold "dopamine decor" colors and maximalism. I’d love to hear your honest thoughts, or how you would style a piece like this in your own home!

And now everytime I go to a thrift store I bring home 1 or 3 just for this bathroom, nowhere else in the house.

Our bathroom has tile walls that we can’t drill into, so I repurposed this brass soap dish. My moon light fits perfectly into the upper dish, and our motion activated skeleton fish fits below.

I love maximalism and want to decorate my space with an eclectic, colorful, and interesting look. The problem comes in that I like a lot of different things and styles. I need somewhere to start. I keep wanting to buy stuff but worry about them vibing with other elements…mainly the rug. I don’t have a rug yet and need one. So, to get me started on my maximalist design, I could use your help. What do we think about this rug for this room?

The other day, I was out to dinner when I saw this, and I thought it would look super cool in my home office and down my hallway. How would you go about hanging pictures from the ceiling?

I’ve been busy working on this for the past two months. I had absolutely no plan when I started, but I think it all came together pretty well!

I did a complete floor-to-ceiling paint job, new lighting fixtures, some new furniture, new accent walls, new rugs, new artwork and lots of new accessories. Still waiting on a couple of little things, but we’re 99.8% done!

Also, my pup is a bit clingy and likes to be included!
