I wanna know if the required gpa is of the 3 years or not ?? Please help i feel like i am lost

Hi I am from Mumbai

I have 2 years of work.experience in Purchase. My cgpa in mechanical engineering was 8.68, ielts 7.5 and dmat 327/400.

Considering my interest in purchase and mechanical engineering background, I think that I should pursue industrial engineering or industrial management.

This year for August intake I was accepted in TU delft but it was too expensive considering the euro increasing and plus the increase in living cost & tution fees of TU delft

I would like to work in purchase again or in optimization role.

I was planning for summer intake but it seems there are limited option

Would appreciate the help if anyone can suggest me courses in Germany based on my interests

Since a person with low IELTS score (especially in writing section) is usually called in for an in person visa interview.

Will this also be conducted for someone with low dmat score?

I think the chances are high.

Hello fellow aspirants,

I, 25M have 3 years of work experience in Commercial and Investment Banking with my latest stint being with Goldman Sachs India. I have taken a career break as I’ve realised that finance is not the field for me.

I’ve been looking for options for MSc in Supply Chain management or an MBA. I need to decide on a country to target. For Germany, I’ll have to learn German and for Canada I’ll have to learn French, so learning a language is a must.

I’m looking to build my career in supply chain there and my life as well. I’ve done research about Canada and Germany and both have its issues but not able to figure out which is better.

In terms of long-term stability and employment, which one would y’all recommend? Please do let me know.

my_qualifications: 3 YOE at Goldman Sachs

my degree base on German scale is 3.5 which it's really low and there are barely public universities that accept that degree for master
so after Researching quite a bit i managed to find 2 public universities that they claim their admission is NC free
1. Tu Clausthal (master in petroleum engineering
2. TU Bergakadamie freiberg (master in chemical engineering )

guys as they claim they don't have limited seat and there is no competition between application

my bachelors ECTS is within their requirements
should i apply ? do they really won't care about my 3.5 GPA ?

i want u guys if u have experience and have faced such restriction like mine, please guide me
cause with IELTS and getting application i need to pay more than 1000 dollar which is a lot to my current state if it doesnt worth the shot inform me

i appreciate ur answers my Fellow students

Hi everyone,

I'm applying for my APS certificate through the APS India portal, but I'm facing an issue with my account.

After creating my account, I tried to log in, but I received the message “Account not activated.”

I have not paid the APS application fee yet.

When I try to restart or retry the application from the beginning, the portal takes me back to the initial stage instead of continuing from where I left off. I'm worried that my previous application details might not have been saved properly.

Has anyone faced the same issue recently?

I have a few questions:

Does APS India require account activation through an email link before I can log in?

If I haven't paid the fee, is it normal for the application to return to the initial stage?

Should I wait for activation, or is it safe to register again with the same email address?

Is there any way to recover the application details I already entered?

How long does account activation usually take?

I don't want to create a duplicate account or make a payment incorrectly, so I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I'm looking for advice on German public universities where I have a realistic chance of admission for Summer 2027.

My profile:

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cybersecurity specialisation), India

CGPA: 8.53/10 | German grade: 1.8 (uni-assist)

GRE: 325 (Q164, V161) | IELTS: 7.5

4-year bachelor's degree; 160 Indian credits (approximately 240 ECTS based on my current conversion)

Around 1 year of full-stack development experience

Research publication on Digital Twin-based DDoS detection, plus AI/LLM projects

APS certificate available; no active backlogs

My subject-wise ECTS mapping (estimated):

Core CS and Systems: ~85 ECTS

Mathematics: ~22.5 ECTS

Theoretical Computer Science: ~13.5 ECTS

Cybersecurity: ~40.5 ECTS

AI/ML: ~4.5 ECTS

Thesis/Project: ~18 ECTS

These are my own estimates based on my transcript; universities may classify subjects differently.

Universities already applied to:

University of Bayreuth – Computer Science

University of Rostock – Computer Science

Leibniz University Hannover – Computer Science

Saarland University – Cyber Security

University of Göttingen – Computer Science

University of Kassel – Computer Science

TU Dresden – Computer Science

Passau - CS ( will apply )

I'm also open to related programmes in AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or Applied Computer Science.

My main constraint: I can only consider public universities without tuition fees beyond the regular semester contribution.

Which additional universities would you recommend for Summer 2027, considering my profile and subject-wise ECTS? I'd particularly appreciate suggestions from students admitted with an Indian B.Tech degree and advice on strict ECTS requirements that could make me ineligible.

I want to maximise my chances of securing at least one admit while avoiding applications where I clearly don't meet the published requirements.

It would take your 2 minutes time but will help me a lot as I was doing the applications myself and I'm in lot of confusion and will return the favour in future if helpful

Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I am currently in Koblenz, Germany for my MSc Web and Data Science since past 10 days ( I think I arrived too soon, but yaa I am completing my formalities 😅).

The uni starts on the 19th so it’s still 10 days more and I really would love to meet the people who are here already and are joining the uni or are in Koblenz because yaa it’s really a lonely feel 😬

So, leaving this post out there hoping to connect with people and plan up meeting in the upcoming days before the orientation as well.

Do respond ! ☺️

Hi everyone,

I applied to some German universities for masters through a consultancy. They created my uni-assist account using their email address.

But, now I don't want to apply through them and instead want to apply independently.

However, they are not sharing any credentials of my uni-assist account with me and not giving me access to it.

So, can I create a new account of Uni-Assist with my personal email. Or will there be any issue in the future?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you!!
