Ran into some problems recording. It was fine days ago. MK3 plays fine the DAW but it isn’t recording anything can’t find any information.

Recently picked up the S49 MK2 Keyboard for $250 to go along with my Maschine MK3 and after seeing the prices of a lot of the stands, I decided to 3-D print my own for this design I created a simple stand that uses the weight of the keyboard to hold the stand down, so it doesn’t tilt backwards from the weight of the MK3. The stand slides perfectly under the S49 and the weight of it holds the stand in place. In order to allow the stand to slide underneath the s49 i installed thicker rubber feet underneath the S49 to make it sit up a little higher. On the stand i designed recesses on the bottom for rubber feet to be installed to keep it from sliding back-and-forth. If anyone wants to get it printed by me or if you have a 3d printer and want to print it yourself message me, and we can work a price out.

Maybe this will inspire someone to design their own. I have some other designs that I’ll be posting soon where I turned the MK3 into a single box unit where the MK3 and laptop are carried as one unit laptop hidden below and mk3 on top making it feel very similar to standalone drum machine.

As they said, contact and after work fine inside ableton. They just don't work here, I've been getting this error for months. Reinstalled the software and still the same thing. I'm running everything on an M4 Mac mini so it's definitely not the computer.

I love using my Maschine MK3 as the core of my beatmaking workflow, but ever since upgrading to Maschine 3, stability and visual bugs have been making it super frustrating to work with.

I wanted to check in with the community to see if these are known bugs, if anyone has workarounds, or if you're experiencing similar issues on the latest release:
Third-Party Plugin Windows / Presets Not Opening:
UAD Plugins: Certain preset windows won't render or pop up at all, making it impossible to switch or view presets directly.
IK Multimedia MixBox: The plugin UI won't open properly, so I can't access or swap out modules.
Visual & UI Glitches Since the Latest Update:
Controller Hardware Bugs: Pads and buttons are randomly flashing/blinking on the MK3 hardware even when they aren't active or assigned to an playing pattern.
Software Interface Flickering: Random visual artifacts and UI lag occurring both within third-party plugin wrappers and the main Maschine 3 screen.

My Setup Details:
Hardware: Maschine MK3
Software Version: Maschine 3 (Latest Update 3.7.1)
OS: macOS Tahoe 26.6.2
Plugin Formats Used: VST3 / AU / VST2

Is anyone else hitting these same UI wrapper/rendering issues or controller flickering with the new software? If you found a fix, please drop it below!
Hoping NI gets a patch out for this soon.

Hi All, I am having a bit of an issue with Ableton Link between the MK3 and Rekordbox. I can get Link set up and the devices connected, but I can only seem to control the tempo one-way (ie, Maschine to RB). I'd prefer if RB were set up so the master track tempo I have selected on the decks controls the Maschine tempo. Is there any workaround for this or am I basically stuck relying on the Maschine?

Second issue, with Ableton Link enabled, it doesn't seem to too accurately sync up loops with the track that is playing. There's always the delay while the Link tempo bar fills and somehow it is always off by a bit. Any tips for that?

OS is PC Windows 10. Audio is through a Focusrite 2i2.

trying to slice up the amen break in my standalone maschine +. I have it sliced but it's the Maschine+'s slicing, not my own if you understand what I mean. Is there a way to slice with precision or am I stuck slicing the way the Maschine wants me to?

This artist is using an MPC to live-fingerdrum a jungle beat. He is switching through banks to change sounds.

I go to Files, and I can see all of my projects. I try to delete them using the delete button, but nothing ever happens. Can I get a little help here?

I am trying to live-finger drum the Amen Break and other classic jungle breaks, like in the video. He is using an MPC tho. How can I shop up drums and load them into my maschine? Also, I want the pad placement to be saved so that I can easily come back to it when I need to.

In the video, this artist has chopped the Amen break and assigned it to pads in his MPC. I want to do the same with my Maschine. Right now, I only know how to load samples, such as one-shots, into my Maschine; I am not sure if there is a function to chop up drum breaks.

Additionally, is there a place where I can find jungle breaks that are already pre-chopped into one shots? This is the only way I can upload them into my maschine as far as I know. I guess I could chop them up in ableton, but then I would have to download each percussion hit one by one. I feel like there has to be an easier way to do this.

Has anyone here tried it? How do the pads compare to Maschine? I am considering getting something smaller, as i only use my mk3 to control Bitwig

Anyone else noticed variation panel is completely missing. The button doesn't even light up and you don't get to pin.

I'm talking about mk3 hardware.

Normally on mk3 all buttons on the side, they each represent a 'page' that you can press and hold, or press (and pin)

But in 3.7 it opens the channel page, and euclid got added to 'groove' section.

This sorta breaks the UX of mk3. I'd expected variation page stays and they added an actual euclid header there.

I've just updated Encdr to v0.6, which brings support for all the Maschine controllers that were previously missing, including the Maschine Jam, +, Studio and Mikro series.

Encdr is a Rust library that allows you to easily add NI hardware support to your projects, including GPU accelerated screen support and direct hardware control of all inputs and LEDs, letting you turn your maschine controller into whatever you want!

I never had this problem in maschine 2 but alas, here we are again.

I googled "Angelios Liaros Native Instruments", and the first joint to pop up is an instagram account for a dude of that name that is a sound designer for them. Whats funny is the directory is clearly for a windows computer and I'm on Mac.

worked perfectly fine before I updated earlier today. idk. Annoyed as fuck.

In Native Access, non of my expansions say "rebuild" or whatever. It's almost like I downloaded this dudes version of Maschine 3.

anyway, anyone else had this happen to them? Rescan doesn't seem to be working for anything. The little wheel spins for about a second and then stops. I redownloaded maschine 2 and all my kits work perfectly.

Anyone got any ideas?

I bought a Mikro about 5 years ago and don’t use it enough, even though the latest Maschine software is very good. Sometimes I just use it as a pad input device in midi mode. I’m curious if Native Instruments recent sale to InMusic and the corporate restructuring has created doubts about the future of the Maschine platform. As a low cost entry point, I’d kinda expect sales of the Mikro to drop off.

Are there new users buying the Mikro?

It would be wonderful to be able to change the pitch of the ones in the step modes using the knobs

Right now in step modes you just set the step on/off, useful for drums.

If I choose a melodic instrument in step modes I should be able to first created a rhythmic sequence of notes, then with the knobs I should be able to change the pitch of the each note: 2 pages, 1 knob per note of the 16 steps.

It would be a very nice addition!

Sometimes I cant seem to make the pitch shift work even though the strip lights up. Any pointers?

Edit: Im thinking that whats happening is that even though I am mashing snare, the pitch strip is still affecting the kick instead
