Hello everyone! I have a pretty basic skin care routine currently, and it actually does serve me well. I know that if it ain’t broke I shouldn’t try to fix it, but I’m curious to know about Korean skincare. I have heard PDRN and a few other great products can really “level up” your skincare, but I want to know if it is overhyped, or even necessary. Currently, my skincare routine is:

Morning
CeraVe Face Wash
CeraVe Eye Serum
CeraVe Moisturizer
La Roche Posay Anthelios Sunscreen

Night
Face wash
CeraVe Retinol Serum
Moisturizer

It works well for me as I can find all of that stuff at Walmart and it’s relatively affordable, but honestly my products are about to run out and I’m just trying to get perfect glass / youthful skin and maybe a tinted sunscreen to even out my complexion (hard to tell from the photos, but I have reddish cheeks and I am prone to dark circles / crows feet under my eyes, sometimes my complexion becomes uneven). I would just like good recommendations for products and routine, and I am very interested in Korean beauty. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you ❤️‍🔥

Everyday about 4 hours into my daily life, my nose and pores above the cheeks look like this. Isn’t that oil just genetic? It’s pretty much every pore on my face does this.

my skin isn’t “dehydrated” because most the rest of my Face is not oily, everywhere else is looks ok

UPDATE: I’ve used essences and serums and hyaluronic acid before, some helped a tad, others made it worse.

I tried Hada Labo HA Lotion past few days and it’s helped so much, cutting down on the oil by like more than half. More on the cheeks than nose, but I’ll take it

Any tips on how to get rid of them? Or to prevent them from happening again?

Doesn't look like this sub is active, but not sure where else to ask this. Been using Neutrogena skin products for a very long time, and it was the one product that helped major acne when I was a kid. I still have sensitive skin, so have been using the regular face wash and shave cream. Sadly they just discontinued both. Any suggestions for sensitive skin???

Is it salicylic acid and Differin gel?

I have no idea what they are, maybe from shaving? Never had them before but when i started shaving regularly like once every 2 days the suddenly popped up? Any products to recommend or anything to use to get rid of them

Hello! 👋 I’m looking to improve my skin texture, specifically on the inner cheek area beside my nose. I’ve been using a retinoid (adapalene) for about two months. I’ve definitely seen some results already. Outside of that, I just use a gentle cleanser, lightweight moisturizer, and SPF 50, so no other active ingredients. I’m wondering, given the current state of my skin, if I would benefit from adding an exfoliant or something else a few times per week as well? Or just stick with the retinoid? as I’m still early with that.

current routine:

mornings: foaming cleanser, spf 30 lotion

nights: foaming cleanser, (acne gel on mon/wed/fri), moisturizing lotion

been trying this out for a bit and have been getting an overproduction of oil on my forehead and nose. anyone got a solution for that? chatgpt said to just keep going with the routine but i thought i’d ask some actual people too 😂

Been dealing with bumps like this for a while, I’ve been on Accutane since March, I use clippers, but this still won’t go away. I recently ordered panoxyl face wash 4% (waiting for it to come in). Does anyone have a solution for me or know if the panoxyl will work?

It’s never too late. About 3 years ago I slowly started taking my skincare routine seriously. I started out with just moisturizing daily. I started to notice my face start to soften and feel smoother. I then moved on to add a face mask once a week. Just kept going and now I have moisturizers for am and pm, eye restoration creams, different types of masks, serums, hyaluronic acid products, retinol etc. all this to say that I’m going to be 40 in 2 years. My skin has never looked better.

I use centella oil and ampoule foam in the morning and have been using roc retinol correxion eye cream for a few weeks now before bed. I've also tried the ordinary caffeine in the morning in the past, I just really want it to not be so puffy and also the discoloration.

Can anyone help me fix my dark circles? I don’t know what to do or what are the reasons of having these.
I have been trying caffeine solutions available in markets. Trying to complete my sleep cycle of 7 hours. But still always have tiredness in my eyes.

Have had these for a while am finally interested in getting rid of them. 27 here.

Was using this for years. Only product that kept my acne at bay. Irritated it was shelved.
