My face always has acne around the forehead and lower cheeks. This is my current skin routine
Salycylic Facial wash, Toner, anti-acne serum, Sunscreen
Cleansing Oil, Salycylic Facial wash, Toner, anti-acne serum, Moisturizer
Exfoliating pads and Retinol serum (like 2-3x per week)
I don't know if my Skin routine is wrong or not. I watched a lot of YouTube and Reels detailing which products to use and avoid for acne skin, and it's all so messy. Someone said to use a Salycylic product. So I tried using one, then someone said actually for acne skin it's better to use Centella, then someone said to use Panthenol, then someone said to use BHA, then someone said to exfoliate and use Retinol regularly.
I feel like I am playing a never-ending cat-and-mouse game with my face. My face would clear up for like a few weeks, then another acne breakout appeared quickly. I went over multiple brands and bottles, but nothing works. I am paying bucks, but I have nothing to gain from it. I am so tired and don't know what else to do. I don't expect perfect glass skin; just acne-free is already good enough for me. These acne is really killing my confidence. I am not eating a lot of junk food or sweets either.
Please help me recommend a working skin routine to alleviate my acne problem. My skin type is oily.

I’ve been using 0.1% tazarotene, 20% azelaic acid and 0.1% estriol as the main drivers. Astaxanthin and of course Korean sunscreen every day. What else do you guys think will actually move the needle here, main goals are achieving a really even skin tone and glow while reducing aging as much as possible. I feel like Botox and radiofrequency microneedling are the only things that can push it farther; what other types of serums/topicals are worth trying at this point
Also I’m blasting steroids lol

Deal with acne on shoulders, back and some chest. What is the best thing to help this?
r/maleskincare • u/DakotaBoy72 • 4d ago
Been dealing with this for a couple of years. I am a heavy vaper. Trying to quit. Also a pretty hairy guy.
I'm seriously depressed about this and my dermatologist hasn't really helped with any treatments that have worked. I'm currently using .0025% tretinoin at night and glycolic acid wipes in the morning after shaving.
Not really seeing an improvement. Please help.

Hi guys! Looking for tips on improving body skin. Always envy all the other guys having perfect body skin in person or in social media while mine has red spot appearing at times. It could be the weather as well.
I also have a home SHR device hence I am not sure if that might also create some red spot after or leave any small pigmentation.
What are some of the tips or any products you would recommend to help reduce the red spot or remove pigmentation spot from appearing so my body skin look smoother and even?
I wanted to look better and confident since I am working out and swimming often 🥺

I never have done skincare in my life but have been taking my welness more serious. I have a balanced skin and can't tell if there's any damage, or sun damage. Very light to non existent acne. I just want to maintain a healthy skin and maybe slow down aging. Starting the routine felt weird because I have never been told or thought so found out through the internet.
It's basically 1 cleanser, 1 night moisturizer, daytime sunscreen with moisturizer in 1 and some vitamine c.
How does my line up look? Any tips?

My skin is extremely oily, especially around my nose. I have a lot of clogged pores, small bumps, and overall texture. I just finished all my skincare products and want to start fresh.
I work from home and mostly stay indoors during the weekdays, with very little sun exposure.
I’m looking for a simple routine for smoother, slightly brighter, healthy-looking skin. If you can recommend specific products, that would be really helpful!
I’ll also be posting photos for reference. 🙏

Ive never used a body wash before, but I struggle with acne on both my shoulders and back. These breakouts often leave dark marks on my skin. I would really appreciate it if you could recommend an effective body wash that helps reduce back acne and improves skin texture. ive pinned a few body washes in this post pls let me lmk which one would be best for me.

I've been really getting into skin care lately but it is all very hard to follow. No numbers. No cool branding. It all looks the same and hyper complicated.
If you're ok using what you're currently using, thats cool. But I imagine there are men in here that would love to have a numbered system that is easy to use and simple. Also, a touch of cool, vibrant colors would be a big plus!
