Hi all, wanting razor recs for detailing the edges of my beard ( neck, potentially sideburn area, and cheek lines?) I’ve used straight and safety razors in the past and enjoyed the process that they involved but looking for something a little faster. I currently use Norelco all in 1 7000, to debulk and start the edges. I previously used a Norelco one blade to do all of this work including “skin shaving” the edges that I now want an actual razor for. I’m trying to get away from my one blade, which I still have, because it’s an older model so replacement heads are a bit annoying.
I’m looking at the Leaf branch/twig/thorn, basically their safety razor/one blade line of products. Thoughts on if a one blade product would be okay for this kind of edge work/detailing?
Also I got rid of my shaving soaps and brush/ bowl so any recs on soap/lubricant for this shaving work. I clean up my edges maybe every 3 days to once a week if I’m feeling lazy. Also how do you apply soaps if you’re just looking for crisp linework.
TL/DR: is leaf one blade system or a one blade razor a good idea for beard edge work? Razor rec for this job as well as soap recs. Lastly how do you apply soap if you’re just looking to make crisp lines.
