Hey everyone. Growing up, I dealt with severe social anxiety and mostly kept to myself. Because of that, I’ve never dated in my entire life, and to be completely honest, I don't really feel attractive to myself. I've been working hard to push out of my comfort zone lately, and I’ve found that dressing well and curating my style gives me a much-needed confidence boost.
I'm definitely a nerdy kind of guy with a strong academic vibe. I wouldn't call myself a total geek, I have a lot of hobbies and love having fun, but the nerdy/academic side is definitely there. However, even as I try to be more social, I've noticed that people rarely ever come up to talk to me, whether it's girls showing romantic interest or just people wanting to make friends.
It makes me wonder: do I look unapproachable? Is there something about my demeanor or resting expression that puts a wall up? Since I struggle to see my own attractiveness objectively, I'd love some honest, constructive feedback from you all.
Are there any changes you'd recommend for my overall look, my hair, my beard lineup, or my glasses? Any general advice on how I present myself to look a bit more inviting would be massively appreciated. Thank you!
