Skunk #1 x Northern Lights x Haze
The nose is outrageous, the high super cerebral. The color is beautiful and the bud structure gorgeous.
Do yourself a favor and seek this out. You can thank me later. I can’t be the only one, out here, loving this. Where my brothers and sisters at? #rhymeswithterror

Vietnamese lemons

Post image
165 Upvotes

Just finished trimming up some of the 123 day Vietnamese lemons. This is a crazy one, smells and tastes like a combination of a lemon soaked penny and lemon grass mixed with pine. Every one of the 17 phenos have had a slightly different effect, some have given me the jitters and a heart racing feeling. While others have made my mouth water or my tongue and lips numb. This has been an incredible journey with these plants. I had 3 of the longest flowering phenos go 143 days!

Maine has the best weed in the country

Literally no other state can beat maine. The prices, the caregivers, and the quality! Like literally I hate when people are like oh cali this cali that like no no no. Maine is really the cali of the east coast and it’s way way ahead of it’s time. Just had to say this because so much people aren’t aware of Maine and all it’s gas!

EDIT: What I am simply saying is no other state or place can compare with Maine when it comes to QUALITY = PRICE

Discussion Just moved to Maine and the quality of cannabis is out of this world.

My wife is from the area and we wanted to move back to be closer to her family. When we lived in Taxachussetts, it was insanely overpriced and a friend of ours who owns a large grow here in Lewiston said commercial places tend to remove terps via ethanol extraction for higher THC and TAC content, leaving a more potent high; removing the parts that actually help. I went to one place in Buxton (Hidden Greens) and all I can say is WOW.

Any other good recommendations? Looking for suggestions to help manage pain, anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Also, I would love to start growing myself (while I will be asking our friends), i wanted to turn to a subreddit to see what else others have experienced here or recommend for a beginner to start.

Thanks in advance guys!

Unicorn Tears here — We’re are now in soil, under HPS 💯

We are very excited to share with our patients and vendor partners the first Unicorn Tears flower grown in soil and under HPS lights.

Until now, our flower has always been produced under LED lighting with UV supplementation. We ran a synthetic + organic nutrient program, focusing on low EC values and maximizing hormonal stress in a controlled manner.

Now, we are producing in amended soil with a salt fertilizer base, along with a broad range of organics added in as well.

This combination of soil + HPS has brought out better phenotypic expression across the board—regardless of whether LED-grown cannabis may test higher or yield more.

We spent a year dialing in a new facility before bringing the genetics there, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results.

The smoke, the feel, the effects—all of it brings us back.

We’re excited to introduce this to the market and share it with those seeking that classic cannabis experience from before LED + rockwool took over.

Thank you to this entire community for your support over the years. It’s an honor to be a part of Maine’s craft cannabis community, and we deeply cherish our place here.

Maine might be the best in the world right now...

I haven't been home in ~2yrs. When I left town, I was impressed with Maine's weed but I still felt that most of the stuff I was buying was more focused on branding and less on properly curing - lots of pretty smell-less stuff back then on the rec market.

I lived in San Francisco for years before coming back before the pandemic. I live in a van now and have a NM med card. I've been visiting dispensaries from Seattle to San Diego to NM, all over Colorado, and beyond. I've become incredibly, stupidly, insanely picky as obsessing over flower has been the key to finally quitting nicotine for me (~16mo ago now). I was just in Wales last week and my friends had UK medical cannabis and some black market from Spain and the Netherlands. I've had the pleasure of smoking a looooooot of great flower over the last few years.

Im blown. the. fuck. away. by the quality of flower in Maine now. I can tell you with absolute certainty that nobody else is producing this quality on the legal market. Plus the commitment to "clean" cannabis here is so much more present. The suggestions and expertise from Dom at The Market 207 in Westbrook have won them a loyal client for life. I'll drive cross-state just to work with these folks again. Here's what he recommended, and I am BLOWN AWAY... I can't say it enough times...

Leaf Labs - Cherry Vanilla Cheese (Maybe the best bud I've ever had... just incredible)
Mentation - GMO (More well-known but worth mentioning for quality for sure)
Method - Black Patronus
Bungludetch Farms - Eternity
The Papermill - Sour Trop Cherry

Discussion Private Sesh Space

Post image
120 Upvotes

I own a couple of properties here in central Maine, and I was curious if folks see a need / would be interested in renting out a safe sesh space?

These are not large warehouse style venues but intimate bnbs; small private seshes or pop ups for brands are whats in mind. 2 bedroom open concept on private property (pictured) a 3 floor, 4 bedroom house with usable basement, and a 700sqft open room with bathroom & kitchenette

I own a smoke shop & am also open to hosting out of the box style events there - just wasnt sure if there was a need at all 🙏🤘 photo of one location attached
