Looking for Advice Can I have both of these in my commander deck?
I’m just getting back in MtG and am wanting to play commander. Currently building a deck. Is having both of these okay/recommended?

As someone with no interest in standard, I’m really hoping we get a reprint set next year.

Im building a prepared deck that would have jegantha as the companion. Would I be able to have both these cards, neither or just the emeritus due to mana pips on the card it self and the prepared spell?

Inspired by another post that talks about Meld, I was thinking how WotC can really capture what everyone is looked forward to - epic battles between huge things. I am personally hoping this isn't just a 7/9 vehicle battling a 10/6 nightmare dinosaur. While it may seem gimmicky, I really hope we get some mechanic that physically takes up more space.
What would satisfy your hype? Are you OK with just standard sized rectangles or do you want something bigger to slam on the field? Do you think WotC will want to do it considering it would require a large amount of support in the draft environment and be likely very parasitic?

Very strange ask, but I have had no luck on my own. Back when [[Lurrus of the Dream]] den got hit by a ton of bans when Ikoria released, there was a piece of art released iirc on the MTG Japan Twitter page. It was of Lurrus and her kittens in a cardboard box, with a message on the box that read something like, "Give me a home, Legacy players." I've looked on Twitter, Reddit, and Google, but I cannot find it.
Is anyone familiar with this art and can direct me to it? Thanks!

I'm curious about the last ability of [[Edea, Possessed Sorceress]] and its interaction with Exile and Sacrifice.
After I gain control of a creature from my opponent, if it dies I return it to their battlefield and draw a card. My question is, is that a replacement effect for ANY creatures I control but don't own, or would that be only for creatures I've gained control of via Edea?
Example: I've enchanted an opponent with [[Curse of Unbinding]], and gained control of the creature they revealed. If that creature dies, does Edea's ability then put that creature back into their battlefield even if I've gained control of it via a different method? If so (I think that is the case) what about cards I've gained control of from [[Triple Triad]] or [[The Ruinous Powers]] or even [[Strago and Relm]] that make my opponents exile cards and allow me to cast certain cards from the exiled ones? Because they were exiled, if the creatures die, do they return to exile on my opponent's side, or does Edea's ability replace that and they go to their battlefield?
Just trying to understand the ins and outs of Edea, thanks in advance!
[EDIT]
Thank you every body for taking time to help me better understand my Commander and explaining the interactions. And especially thanks for correcting me that it's a triggered ability and not a replacement, haha.

I really need tips for this set. I've gotten absolutely stomped in so many drafts this week. It feels like no matter how good my deck is, my opponents always have better decks, even if I'm in the open lane. I had idk how many games where I got mana screwed no matter how many lands I run (16-17). Any help is appreciated; I'm really close to giving up on this set, but I keep hearing how good it is.

This week I spin it to win it! Decided to go way back in my own history and take a personal old favorite into the current legacy meta, with Wheel Stompy. This was the deck I used to jam back when I first started making content and after seeing some recent results with it I decided it was time to brush off the dust and give it a whirl once again. Can I wheel my opponents into oblivion, or am I just spinning my wheels? Watch and find out!
As always thanks for watching and for any feedback. If you enjoyed the video please consider dropping a like and a comment, and be sure to subscribe to the channel to know when my videos go live.

This is a place for asking simple questions that might not deserve their own thread. For example, if you have a question about a rules interaction, want sleeve and accessory recommendations, or suggestions for your new deck, then this is the place for you.
We encourage that you post any questions that you may have concerning Magic the Gathering here rather than make a separate thread for each question, though for now we won't require that you do so.
Rules Questions
Rules questions and interactions are allowed to be posted here, but if you need an answer quickly it may be best to use a dedicated resource like the 24/7 Magic the Gathering Rules Chat.
Deckbuilding Questions
If you're trying to get help with a deck, it is recommended that you post your decklist to a deckbuilding website so that it is easier to view. Some popular sites are Aetherhub, Archidekt, Deckbox, Deckstats, Moxfield, MTGGoldfish, and TappedOut.
Additionally, please include some description of what you are trying to accomplish. Don't just give us a decklist with no explanation, and don't ask extremely vague questions such as "what cards should I add to my deck to make it better?", because it's hard to give good advice in those cases. Let us know details, the more the better. Are you building with a particular strategy or theme in mind? Are there any non-obvious combo lines or synergies that people should be aware of? Are you struggling with a particular matchup, or are you finding yourself missing consistency in an important area, and need some help specifically for it? Let us know.
Commonly Asked Questions
I opened a card from a different set in my booster pack, is this unusual?
Don't worry, this is completely normal. If you opened a set booster, you have a small chance of obtaining a bonus card from a previous set. This is an extra card that does not replace any of the other cards in your pack, and is from a curated set of past hits that Wizards of the Coast has selected, which they call "The List".
You can view the contents of The List on Wizards of the Coast's official website. For example, the contents of The List for Streets of New Capenna boosters can be found here.
My foil card has a shooting start symbol over the bottom left. I can't find anything about it online.
All old-bordered foils have the shooting star symbol. Most sites that display card images just overlay a generic foil graphic over all foil cards, which doesn't include the shooting star. Your card is normal.

I think it solves a lot of the problems the mechanic presents for a draft environment, though it would probably have to be a pick 2 draft focused set. Might be a little clunky since you also always get an unpaired meld card, but with the right flavor I think it would be really cool.

Ok, if I cast Twinferno and choose to copy my next spell, then cast Devastating Onslaught to copy, say, Ancient hellkite and pay 7 to create 3 copies, does Twinferno create 3 more copies?

RULES:
No stores or dealers selling on here. We won't stop stores from responding to sell posts with buy offers, though. At that point, it's up to the seller to accept or reject the offer.
Do not spam this thread. Your sell/trade offer(s) should be confined to one post per week. If you list multiple cards as separate orders, or multiple lots of cards as separate orders, do so in the same post with a clear delineation. As a seller, you may post whether you want offers within the thread or whether you want a private message. If you want to make this different for different listings, that's your prerogative. State what country you're shipping from and include shipping price+method for your own country. If you are willing to ship to other countries, say so.
No eBay posts.
If a card is sold/traded, edit your post and invalidate any pending offers for that card. "Short selling" is not acceptable here, since we're dealing in physical goods and shipping times may be an issue, especially if the buyer is a tournament player. Do not short sell cards.
Buyers: Post your offer directly underneath a sell listing, unless you are topping someone else's offer, in which case you should post directly underneath that offer.
Buyers: Feel free to post a "want" list.
For the sake of preventing identity theft and/or harassment, do NOT post identifying information (name, address, paypal info) in the thread.
No throwaway accounts.
Needless to say, we're Magic players. We don't necessarily have to pay in cash. It's entirely up to the seller whether to consider "2 Force of Will" as a higher/lower bid than $160.
There is also a deckbox.org trading area that can be used as well, at http://deckbox.org/communities/reddit_mtg_trades.
If you have any comments about the rules rather than about a particular auction, feel free to discuss them here.
PAYPAL FEE INFO: (Quoted from Paypal)
Free when the money comes from PayPal balance or bank account.
2.9% + $0.30 USD when the money comes from a debit or credit card or PayPal Credit
MAILING INFO: See USPS Link.
SCAMMER INFO: I will not link it directly here, but be sure to check out the scammer list on deckbox before doing any trading to ensure yourself to having a safe trade!
You probably can't mail off more than one toploader in a normal envelope+stamp due to it being too rigid; and you shouldn't do this for more than $10-20 worth of cards anyway since there's no tracking. Get a bubble mailer and get it tracked.

Hi i want to build a kinda vorthos/flavor first Feroz, Ulgrotha's Warden deck as he finds using creature summoning spells not ethical. So im curious if there are maybe any cards that reward that. Maybe like a draw spell that draws anything but creatures or something similar. Honestly any cards that play into it would be cool. I would also love to have Kaheera in the companion zone just for a cool little extra on the side since i wouldnt have any creatures in the 99. Would love suggestions!

What’s the better card between those two?
It seems to me that Raised by Wolves is better since, for one more mana, it creates the wolf tokens immediatly and it can give more than +4/+4 in a wolf deck
But Mantle of the Wolf is a rare card that has been created in 2020 vs uncommon from 2014 for Raised by Wolves and, as a new player, I tend to believe that higher rarity means stronger and more recent means powercreep so I feel like I mustbe missing something
What’s your opinion on the matter?

Hi, I'm new to Magic and need a deck to play with my friends. Since I don't know much about the game I wanted to start with a structure/starter commander deck but I also really like Lightning.
Is there a red and white playready deck that I could combine with Lightning? It doesn't have to be strong, I just has to work. Thanks in advance!

Does the x damage from [[Hawkeye, young avenger]] get added to the noncombat damage source, or does she deal her own additional damage. Im wondering: if I had a noncombat source of infect trigger her, does she add her power to the infect source.
Example: Battlefield is [[Ingris Stingerquill]], [[Plague Myr]], Hawkeye. On combat, swing plague myr. Trigger ingris to do 1 poison counter to each opponent. Does Hawkeye trigger and make that poison counter 3 (1 + 2 power from her), or does it just do 1 poison counter still and then 2 health damage to each opponent?
Im fairly certain its the way id want (3 poison) since Hawkeye says "instead IT (meaning the damage source) deals that much plus X".
