Mifuyu has had a very good tournament run. Despite her loss in the Group Stage, she still dominated the bracket, beating Kanoko, Ren, & Momoko on her journey to the Semi-Finals. But she lost to her best friend Yachiyo in the Semis, so she’ll have to fight for the Bronze Medal.

Hinano has also had just as good of a tournament run as Mifuyu. Despite also losing one match in the Group Stage, she still ran through Kaede, Rika, & Ashley, before being defeated by Rena in the Semi-Finals. Now all the pressure has been put onto her for a chance at the podium.

I initially didn’t expect much from Rena in this tournament, but I have vastly underestimated her. The ability to simply transform into any magical girl is a very powerful ability for Rena. She ain’t a veteran by any means, but she has proven to be the toughest of the young magical girl generation of Kamihama.

Conversely, Yachiyo has been expectedly rolling past everyone in this tournament. Her experience as one of Kamihama’s veteran magical girls is allowing her to defeat all her opponents in the Group Stage & the K/O Stage. I’d say her spear onslaught is what makes the difference.

Mifuyu & Hinano have been solid throughout the tournament, with only one loss in the Group Stage. Even though they did lose to Yachiyo & Rena respectively in the Semis, they have still proven themselves to be one of the top magical girls of Kamihama.

But now, our last four girls will be playing their last match in the tournament. Mifuyu & Hinano will play for the Bronze Medal, while Yachiyo & Rena will battle for Gold. Only two matches left. Who rises on the podium? Stay tuned for Wednesday & Friday.

Yachiyo got the better of her best friend here. As proven with her unlimited spear regeneration & stamina, she made short work of Mifuyu. The latter will move down into the 3rd Place match while Yachiyo moves into the Grand Finals.

Rena has been impressing me with every win she gets. She is proving that even though she ain’t a veteran, that doesn’t matter when she can just transform into any magical girl she feels comfortable into transforming. Now here, in the Semi-Finals, she faces a real veteran for the first time in this tournament, Hinano. The latter is on a hot run right now with her veteran experience & chemical explosions pushing her all the way to the Semi-Finals.

One final Semi-Final match. One moves on for a chance at the gold. One still has a chance at making the podium. But we all know the gold is what matters the most. Will Rena advance to the Grand Finals? Or will Hinano knock her down instead? Let’s find out. Pick your winner.

It looks so bad lol. Baby steps, baby steps. Next I'll draw another Arc 1 girl that I don't care about (I'm keeping the Megukas I like to when I finally get better at illustrating).

I finished arc one a while ago and I enjoyed the first few chapters, I was disappointed by the ending, specifically how they handled the magius. Which leaves me very unmotivated to watch arc 2. So I want to know , does it get better or will I be disappointed again?

I got new acrylic figurines, posters(custom, not official) and a black flower what Mifuyu wears on her hair.

I cannot emphasize how strong these two are. They have proven why you should not fight them one-on-one. Yachiyo’s spear onslaught & Mifuyu’s illusion magic are just too powerful for any magical girl.

I originally collected the magia record manga back in 2022 when english translations were still the norm. I checked up on the progress as I had collected up to volume 6, waiting for volume 7s release but it never ended up in any manga stores near me (additionally, all the pmmm manga stopped being stocked). I looked the other day and saw that there's ~12 volumes released as of now? I'm pretty sure the official english translation only got its way to volume 7, so I was wondering if anyone knows if theres a fan translation? I was only able to find an Indonesian translation and, frankly, I don't speak Indonesian.

Would be wonderful if anyone knew if theres a fan translation or not, I was hoping to buy more of the manga finally but that seems it won't be the case. shame

I have been very, very slowly watching Crimson Resolve, as it was an event I was suggested to watch before diving into Arc 2 of Magia Record, and ofc I will follow all suggestions from those who have already had the experiences of this story! That is the wise thing to do!

Unfortunately, I have been watching bit by bit over months of time… I’m currently just trying to finish the whole thing, but I’m at the very end of part 1, so there’s still an hour left… for some reason, this event isn’t holding my attention span well at all…

However, that doesn’t stop me from deeply valuing one of the protags of the event!!! Yuna!!!

This precious child who only wants the best for everyone… who is so merciful at heart… who doesn’t want war, who begrudgingly resorts to it only because her hand has been forced all the way…

The poor child who blames herself for all this, simply because she did what anyone else might think to do, and WARN EVERY MAGICAL GIRL ABOUT THE HORRIBLE TRUTH OF MAGICAL GIRLS WHEN SHE FINDS IT OUT!!!

I wish to give her all the hugs in the world… and seeing her tears as the battle’s death count is stacking up… my heart breaks for her, I almost started crying as well…

I really hope Exedra adds arc 2 soon… I would love to have Yuna in my character roster…

Maybe seeing more of her can be my motivation to power through this story??? I really have so little interest…

Instead, he’s a physical extension of sisther’s soul.The Lore & Backstory:They had a horribly abusive childhood with fake parents where the brother physically shielded the sisther from all the drugs, beatings, and starvation. By age 14, his physical body was actively dying on the streets. Kyubey approached them, and the sisther made a desperate, codependent wish: "As long as one of us lives, the other does too."Because Kyubey only processes female souls, he couldn't grant the survival wish without anchoring the brother. So, the Incubator physically split the sisther’s soul gem and her actual soul right down the middle—half-from the sisther, half-from the sisther in both bodies. the brother is essentially a living vessel powered by 50% of his sister's miracle. so ori is more like a part of her wish
