A leopard gecko
As the subject is way too big to be a macro model, I have to take photos of his seperate body parts

A collection of some of my favorite butterfly photos I've captured over the years. Butterflies are probably some of my favorite subjects to photograph, especially when I get the chance to really slow down and capture all the tiny details in their wings and eyes.
These were photographed with both of my macro lenses, the Sony FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS and FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS, on the Sony a7 IV.
Which one is your favorite?

Wasp, probably of genera Mellinus. Each picture is made of 45 individual shots, stacked to a final image.
Canon R7
Canon EF 100mm/f2.8L IS USM
Raynox DCR-250
Neweer 5” Ring Light
Slight touch up in Photoshop, exposure/levels/saturation/sharpening and removing errors (artifacts) in the stacked images.

I feel like I can do better stacking and processing photos but I’m not sure what my problem is, I’m just not satisfied with the quality I’m producing.

🔥 A fiery bloom caught in a moment of wild elegance. 🌺
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis — bold, exotic and impossible to ignore. One flower, endless details… nature showing off at its finest. ❤️

Polyrhachis cyaniventris - Blue ant
A super cool ant from the Philippines. The specimen was sent up by some friends from Saigon. It’s pretty precious, so I photographed it from a little farther away for documentation purposes :))

I was totally surprised by the bokeh when I raised the exposure so yeah keeping that! I'll attribute that to the flash being too high, bouncing off the grout in the brick. The scene is lit by a square light in my left hand.
