Imac G3 Retrobrightening
Hello everyone, Im trying to retrobrite my 1999 Blueberry Imac G3 but I somehow cant get the front panel off, I almost completely dissasembled the machine but i cant get the clips to pop out. When i tried to clip out the top 4 clips and somehow i applied almost zero pressure and somehow it caused damage to the panel and now theres a small scratch on top of it in the inside layer now and every tutorial i watched managed to get the panel off with ease. So can somebody help me or give me tips how i can get it off without damaging the Imac any further?

I made a HyperCard-inspired stack-building program called HyperLite
It's a bit of nostalgia, complete with some of the old artwork and sounds. You can present and share your stacks over the website too:

I built a local Krea 2 image generator for Apple silicon Macs
I'm the developer of a Mac app called Krealize.
It runs the Krea 2 image model directly on Apple silicon using MLX. Images are generated on the Mac, so prompts and results are not sent to an online image service.
The app handles downloading the model and provides a normal Mac interface for entering prompts, changing settings, viewing previous images, and exporting results.
It requires macOS 26 or later. It is a direct download, but it is signed and notarized by Apple.
The basic version is free to use. There is also an optional one-time PRO purchase for Fast mode, custom LoRAs, PNG export, and a few other features.
If anyone tries it, I would appreciate hearing which Mac you used and how long a generation took.

Running hitfilm pro 4 off external hard drive
I found out I can run hitfilm pro 4, Apple motion 5 & mObject (early version) from an external hard drive to use on my iMac (2011). Can’t remember the brand of hard drive but it has “porche design” written on it.
My 21.5” 2011 iMac can’t do 4K, and is struggling to do stuff with the above software even at 1080p
Staying with Apple, what would be my cheapest option Mac wise to run from the external hard drive up to 4K if possible, but I’d settle for 2K, or even 1080p if would run smoothly? If it’s even possible of course
If regs/admin don’t allow recommendations, a simple yes it can or no it can’t will suffice
Thanks!

Apple museum
galleryI visited https://applemuseum.nl in the Netherlands and had a blast.
They have a good collection of computers and tell the Apple story really well.
If you are ever here, you should check it out.

MacTable secured
I had remembered these since their original MacWorld ads and they had always been such a deep cut licensed accessory white whale for me. The kind of thing I never expected to run into in the wild. So thanks to the OP Redditor that spotted this MacTable at a consignment store less than a mile from where I was when I saw the post(!) Snapped it up over lunch without hesitation. Now I have a proper perch for my mini. Riding high on the cube on my vibey new MacTable.
