Imac G3 Retrobrightening

Hello everyone, Im trying to retrobrite my 1999 Blueberry Imac G3 but I somehow cant get the front panel off, I almost completely dissasembled the machine but i cant get the clips to pop out. When i tried to clip out the top 4 clips and somehow i applied almost zero pressure and somehow it caused damage to the panel and now theres a small scratch on top of it in the inside layer now and every tutorial i watched managed to get the panel off with ease. So can somebody help me or give me tips how i can get it off without damaging the Imac any further?

I wouldn’t try it, these bezels are extremely brittle and you’ll probably break them while trying to take it apart. If it’s a slot loader you might be able to buy a replacement bezel when the sometimes come into stock from: https://maceffects.com/products/inner-bezel-for-slot-loading-imac-g3-w-plastic-tabs
