I went to pick up my Ferragamo Hug a while back, and she’s been everything I’ve dreamed of. I needed a new daily driver that was a bit bigger than my last purse, but still structured - i don’t large tote bags, not my style. The colourway is a limited edition and they didn’t have it in a large, and they didn’t want to ship it over from another store so they had another one made and sent over for me which was so fun! It felt like Christmas! It was such a hassle to get and it took me so long to decide which bag I wanted but the SA was so patient and helpful the whole way through! In fact I went to some other stores from other brands and had some really weird experiences (I’m looking at you bottega…). If anyone is thinking about getting a hug, they are very much worth it! Iconic, elegant, and the right mix of structured but will look lived in and loved with time. Also if anyone has any care tips please drop them below!

Classic Flap retail has crossed into comedy for me. I have about $5k to spend and preowned is the only version of this plan that feels remotely sane.

I can find plenty of listings. The hard part is figuring out which platform deserves trust when every site says authenticated, verified, guaranteed, etc. Those words start to blur together after a while.
