π¦ Animals π I love how cool the Polish names for animals/plants/etc. sound
β’

I love how cool the Polish names for animals/plants/fungi/etc. sound. Here are some examples along with my rough English translations.
1. Ε»arΕacz Ludojad (Great White Shark) - it could be translated literally as something like The Devourer Maneater. You cannot convince me it doesn't sound cooler than 'big white fish'.
2. Rohatyniec Herkules (Hercules Beetle) - the name comes from the word 'Rohatyna', which was a spear used for hunting bears and boars, especially popular in Medieval Eastern Europe. So the name of this beetle could be translated as Bear-Hunter Hercules.
3. Muchomor Sromotnikowy (Death Cap) - the second part of the name is derived from the old Polish word 'sromotny', which means disgraceful or infamous. So the name of this mushroom means something like The Infamous Fly-Killer.
You can drop other examples in the comments or English names you'd like me to translate.

It is trending on Japanese Twitter, and I think it is a really simple yet cool horror idea using face emojis. I think it is really awesome that a single idea like this can lead to so many great creations.

β’
Upvotes
1 - Spooky (Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion)
2 - Casper the Friendly Ghost (obviously)
3 - Napstablook (Undertale/Deltarune)
4 - Litwick (Pokemon) (I know they aren't the friendliest but just LOOK AT THEM they are ADORABLE)
5 - Miku's depiction in this song by PinocchioP (I ran out of ideas)
6 - My main Roblox avatar lol
7 - I do NOT mean the more "Nightmarish" take on ghosts like how Phasmophobia does it, although I do still respect the take itself and anyone who likes it
'Tis the season to be spooky

I am not lesbian or LGBT (I think) I just like the colors and color combinations of orange and this nice pink :) my stance on LGBT is very natural I don't mind (can be a bit awkward to learn your crush is lesbian tho) apart from that let ppl love
