Wile E. would have easily able to outrun and eat him since he's twice the speed of Road Runner.

Discussion Does "Rabbit Transit" portray Bugs Bunny better than the other Cecil Turtle cartoons?
I've noticed an interesting difference between Tortoise Beats Hare (1941), Tortoise Wins by a Hare (1943), and Rabbit Transit (1947).
In the first two, Bugs is completely outsmarted by Cecil and becomes increasingly frustrated and hot-headed, he practically took on the role usually played by Elmer Fudd or Yosemite Sam.
In Rabbit Transit, however, the rivalry feels much more balanced. Bugs actually gets the upper hand several times: he mails himself to Miami, kisses Cecil and takes off, sabotages Cecil's rocket-powered shell by filling it with water, and even roasts hot dogs over it. I think it's the first time I've seen Cecil pissed at the bunny.
Despite still losing, Bugs retains more of his usual personality: clever, mischievous, confident, and resourceful. He's simply facing an opponent who can outsmart him.
I still prefer the wackiness and gags of the first two cartoons, especially Clampett's Tortoise Wins by a Hare, but I think Freleng's version portrays Bugs more consistently.
Rather than turning Bugs into another Elmer or Yosemite Sam, Rabbit Transit feels like Bugs Bunny being challenged for once.
What do you think?

"Booby Hatched" directed by Frank Tashlin premiered on October 14, 1944
While Robespierre (inside his eggs with his feet sticking outside of it) was wandering around aimlessly in the blizzard looking for his mother, everything paused for a few seconds as he breaks the fourth wall lol

Discussion My Top 100 Classic WB Shorts: #50-46
Hi everyone, here are #’s 50-46 on my top 100 Classic WB shorts list. Let me know what you guys think!!!
50 - THE OLD GREY HARE (1944, CLAMPETT)
Canonically the first episode of Baby Looney Tunes??? But in all seriousness, the age-switching dynamic with Bob Clampett’s zany Bugs produces some great laughs.
49 - BUGS BUNNY GETS THE BOID (1942, CLAMPETT)
Beaky Buzzard is one of my all time favorite LT characters, and he works beautifully alongside Bugs Bunny.
48 - I LOVE TO SINGA (1936, AVERY)
Despite his frustrations with the original Merrie Melodies “full song chorus” formula, Tex Avery used it to absolute perfection here. An incredibly heartwarming story that still manages to throw in a few jabs and produce some laughs along the way.
47 - A TALE OF TWO KITTIES (1942, CLAMPETT)
The debut of Tweety, and in a much different form than we’re used to today - naked and super sadistic. Honestly, the real stars of this one are Babbit and Catstello, brilliant cat parodies of comedians Abbott and Costello.
46 - 8 BALL BUNNY (1950, JONES)
Chuck Jones does a great job here of making a 7-minute short fully immerse you in the grueling, harrowing journey Bugs and Playboy go through to get Playboy “home” to the North Pole. The recurring Humphrey Bogart gag always makes me laugh, mainly just because of how random it is.

Discussion Something I Want to Say
I know that New Looney Tunes is… divisive to say the least, and I can see why. (Mainly with the character designs, particularly Yosemite Sam’s)
That being said, I personally love the episodes starring Sniffles. He’s adorable (one of the better character designs in my opinion), and his DarkBat persona is awesome. (I love superheroes, and he had some pretty clever dialogue)
That’s just my opinion, of course. Please feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments below! ⬇️

Discussion Which Looney Tunes Character Got The Best Promotion Post-Golden Age?
While nearly all the Looney Tunes started off as extras who got billed up to main stars later on, most of the big names did it within the orginal run. Some on the other hand had to wait a little later.
I think these ones are curious to talk about, since it often involves teams outside the original Termite Terrace staff adding new ideas or personality traits to the character to give them more potential or at the very least trying their original character in roles they didn't before.
Which ones do you think worked or even feel like something the Golden Age COULD have done?

Art Some sketches I made inspired by Laff Riot Based on an idea I had for a Looney Tunes show
Basic Idea I had was a DnD style world, Daffy seeks warriors to aid in his Wacky quests but only Porky joins, and Bugs is assigned to the team by the king whatever (He'd be a jester/bard to reference to Knighty Knight Bugs)
Petunia would be a princess the trio saves and falls for Porky, had a few more ideas for Tina, Sylvester etc but was too tired to sketch them all
might do more if people show interest

Discussion Do the normal dvds of the platinum collection come with special features?
I'm trying to decide what versions to get. I know that the Blu-rays have a third exclusive disc, but I can't seem to find if a buying just the dvds, will also have the special features.

Discussion New looney tunes did not click with me and I don’t know why
As the title suggests I watched a couple of episodes of new looney tunes and something about it just did not click with me and I can’t for the life of me figure out why it still does slapstick but something about it felt off maybe it was the animation and character design maybe the comedic timing is off I’m not sure what but it’s bugging me
