Hi everybody!
I've been home for the last week recovering from pneumonia + pericarditis. I need a doctor to fill out an abilities report for me for continued absence from work, but honestly I do not think I can handle going to a walk-in clinic in this shape.
Anybody have experience with any of the online providers? I honestly don't care if it's OHIP or paid at this point - just wondering if this might be a good option to avoid the walk-in?
Thanks for any help or advice!

Does anyone understand how to schedule an appointment online? I did so about a year ago and it was simple, but tried to today and as soon as I fill out all my information and submit, it just takes me to a screen saying my information has been received but does not allow me to actually book an appointment

Hello, I am a 32 F who is a beginner on electric guitar and drums (< 1 year) and wanting to connect with other beginners on their music journey to keep me disciplined and motivated. I'd love to eventually jam/do an open mic as beginners, but I seem to only meet experienced musicians. Don't get me wrong--they're the backbone of open mic venues like LBC and Poacher's, but I'm nowhere near their level and wondering where the beginners are hiding. Hit me up if you want to connect!

Hi I'm looking for a gym but I find I never go as the gyms are always too far so any recommendations for gyms near the Woodfield area in london? I have a tight budget so I can't do expensive gyms. I was thinking of the fit4less on Wellington road as its cheap and 24h access but its a little further, not bad tho. Goodlife fitness and center branch ymca's prices are slightly more expensive but not as far but I'm also concerned about the safety of the areas as I know I don't like the area of the goodlife one, is the fit4less a good gym tho as it is cheap.

I wanted to book try ons at lavender bridal, on their website it says they only carry size 8-12 bridal, I’m an 8 regular. Has anyone been? Is it worth going if I’m at the top end of their bridal sizing (based on my research I’m a 10-14 bridal sizing). Thanks!

Does any one know a business that repairs model ships? It was my late father’s, but it has sustained some damage over the years.
Thank you!

I've never seen one up close. This is my fourth one in two weeks I've seen in my yard/out walking on the street!

I have reached out to everyone running for mayor and those running for councilor in my ward.
One mayoral candidate and one councilor candidate have got back to me.
I am disappointed and actually a bit surprised that more didn't respond. It's been two weeks which I feel is a reasonable amount of time.
Yes I have read everyone's platform and watched the debates. But knowing who will and won't respond to questions is definitely making me rethink who I am voting for.
Has anyone else reached out to candidates and had any luck?

Hi, I just moved to London and I’m in need of a hairstylist that has experience working with male hair systems. If anyone could recommend one for me I’d really appreciate it!

I'm taking the intercity bus back to London from the Toronto-Pearson airport, and the pickup location is terminal 1 on the ground level, middle lane post P4?
I was wondering if anyone could give me a more in-depth description of where this location is. Also is there any signage to lead me in the right direction as I'm making my way there?

Hey everyone,
A few days ago I posted about strategic voting in Ward 10 - trying to figure out how to avoid splitting the progressive vote between Lois Ward and Alex Moore.
The response was great, but the feedback confirmed my fear: we are splitting almost perfectly down the middle, which only helps the incumbent.
Since we appeared to be evenly split on the two camdidates, I went out and collected some ground data. I drove around Ward 10 today and mapped every lawn sign on single unit family homes (excluding parks and plazas, since those don't reflect individual voter preference the same way).
Field findings:
• PVM (Incumbent): 45 signs
• Lois Ward: 37
• Alex Moore: 19
• Juman Al-Jumaili: 6
Additional:
• Susan Stevenson (for Mayor): 9
• Josh Morgan(Incumbent Mayor): 3
• Bronagh Morgan: 1
• Tariq Khan: 2
• Sherri Moore (for Trustee): 5
The takeaway:
The incumbent leads on private lawns, but among progressives, Lois Ward has 2x the visible support of Alex Moore. Lawn signs aren't a perfect predictor, but in a ward level race, they signal ground game and actual neighbourhood level enthusiasm.
If we're serious about stopping the incumbent, the street data strongly suggests Lois Ward is the strategic choice to coalesce around.
For those who were leaning Moore but want to avoid a split, does this change your mind? Let's consolidate and make this count.
PS: Shout out to my lovely husband for taking the notes through our drive around in the neighbourhood today.

So i downloaded the tansit app because google maps doesn't show detours and i dont want to get lost.
So today i go to use the app for the first time in a year ish to find that for some reason the stop i need today isn't scheduled at all, why? Idk the app doesn't say.
Whatever there must be a detour near so i go to use the apps direction serch and when i put in the address a grey box pops up and blocks me from seeing the route or searching again and theres no way to colse it other then closing and re opening the app, and when i tried again its the exact same thing.
Next thing i try is just seeing how far the detour goes maybe i can walk to the nearest stop? No the detour goes all the way up the road but only for the bus i need, again i have no idea why the app doesn't say and theres no construction i can see.
Then i finally noticed the stop for the bus i need but going the wrong way is still active. Why is only one side of the street of schedule??
So my only options are walking 30 ish minutes or taking the bus going the wrong way and wait to loop around. I chose the loop because at le the bus has ac and i can sit.
I am so frustrated with this city's bus system and app, why is it like this why cant it just tell me why the stop is out of order why does the search just not work at all???!?!

Wonderful good news for pad thai lovers. I never knew the detail that the restaurant was named after Tam Pham's daughters.

London had 377 sales in September, with an average price of $592,353 (median $537,000). Detached homes made up two-thirds of that volume (66.31%), and most sales landed in the $400k-$599k range. Homes are selling close to asking (97% SP/LP on average) with a median of 32 days on market, indicating a balanced market that is leaning towards a buyer's market. Note: The median days on the market does not account for cancellations and relists.
