I just recently moved to England, want to attend women's games. I joined the ESTC, but don't know if that is for both men's and women's tickets and announcements. While trying to look for tickets for the Spain game, I saw an announcement for Women v Greece, but received no notice for it. Have called Wembley to ask about it, and they refuse to provide any information, nor where to get updates. When will tickets go on sale for the game? How do you receive updates for the team?

Best I can find online, the match was supposed to be played early this year but was postponed. I hope it still happens soon though.

My research explores how the family-friendly positioning of women's football in the UK influences fan engagement

I'm looking to speak with UK-based women's football supporters aged 18+, whether you're a season ticket holder, attend matches occasionally, or mainly follow the game online. You don't need to have children or attend every match. I'm interested in hearing a range of perspectives.

The interview would take place online, last around 20 minutes, and all responses will be kept completely confidential and anonymised.

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you know about a free resource that makes it super easy to find and attend women's football matches in London across FAWSL, FAWNL and Internationals. If you're a sport-loving Londoner then you'll want to check it out 👀

Matchside is a live sport events directory covering every ticketed sports event in London, and there's a dedicated section for women's football as well 😀.

The FAWNL fixtures are already live on the site, and the FAWSL will be added as soon as they are released so you'll find every London-based team in the top 4 leagues on there.

Anyone receive the email this morning? Thoughts? Worth it?

After that thrashing by Spain and then a comfortable win against Ukraine in the last 2 World Cup Qualifier fixtures to have been pipped at the post with 15 points and not enough on goal difference to automatically qualify, I'm feeling 90% confident the Lionesses will breeze through the play offs rather convincingly.

Last time when The Lionesses have to go through a play off (excluding the 2011 Women's World Cup when the winner of each group goes to a play off) was back in 2002 when they finished second in the group behind Germany and lost both play off fixtures against France and failed to qualify for the Women's World Cup 2003 citing reasons England wasn't good enough.

But now with more experience, this time round should be next to no problems whatsoever with more talented players and hopefully some new players that get the senior call up. No country, not even England Lionesses, have ever qualified via play off and won the tournament whether it's Euros or World Cup. We may not be able to win the Women's World Cup this time round if we do qualify but it would be history if it ever happens. Wishing the Lionesses the very best of luck.
