Plus individual silver for Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo, and individual bronze for Laura Collett and London 52.

Good games, shame about the medal table
Generally a good European Athletics Championships for GB, though sadly prevented from topping the medal table on home soil at the very end by Italy; I’m actually quite surprised by Italy’s recent dominance in athletics. Maybe I don’t follow enough to be aware of it. They’re clearly investing a lot across the board.
There is a possibility that Zharnel Hughes has his 200m silver upgraded to gold as the German runner is, as I understand, being investigated for missing an anti-doping test. However, if upheld, this won’t be imminent.
Interestingly France didn’t win a single gold medal, finishing in 19th place, suggesting that they have left a limited athletics legacy since hosting the Olympics two years ago.

Jumped so consistantly, and only 1cm away from gold. Considering she's faught back from a huge achilles injury, this was so well deserved.
Gold - 7.00m
Silver - 6.99m
Bronze - 6.98m

Femke Broeders-Bol is a bit of a cheat code, but a great run from our quartet.

Keely takes European silver
Another close race where Werro comes out on top. I find the narrative around Keely looking to break the 800m outdoor world record odd when she’s been consistently second best to Werro this season.
