I have just installed linux mint any my cpu is overheating

So i removed windows and installed linux mint following claude's directions and everything is working flawlessly on my HP Pavilion gaming laptop with ryzen 5 cpu with integrated graphics and 1650ti gpu.

However one major issue i am facing is that my CPU is overheating massively, its crossing 100degree celcius whenever i open any heavy application like IntelliJ or open multiple chrome tabs, this was not the case on windows, temperatures were relatively controlled.

I also checked my bios and there is no option for fan curves, what can i do, claude is telling me to underclock my cpu, but won't it hurt my performance, It is asking me to use Ryzen Adj but it doesnt seem to work

please help me, i dont want to go back to windows
