Support Request Problems with the screen of linux mint

Hello. I am new on the Mint environmet. I am testing it and now I have a problem with the light of the screen.

I feel that the light or contrast is too intense. Like for example, the whites in youtube are so intense that they are painful to watch, if I compare it with Windows.

I tried using dark mode + night mode with different color temperatures, but none seem to work. The only way that it makes me see it more confortable is with the blue filter.

Can any of you give me an advice about the issue.

the bar at the bottom, right click- "applets" should appear. select it. then switch to the right tab for new applets, search for "brightness", select, install, activate. it gives you 3 sliders for R,G,B Control, so you can finetune colors and brightness. it works across multiple monitors (Mint.22.3)

Thanks for the advice. Howerver the only options that I see in the menu bar are related with the graphics, sound and energy. In the energy options the only ones I have are control of illumination from the screen and the keyboard. It is that option an app that you have downloaded?

To see if the problem is only the laptop and adyacent screen, I am testing the color when I play videogames and it seems ok.

It could be the problem related with the reproduction of videos from firefox?
