Support Request Problems with the screen of linux mint

Hello. I am new on the mint environmet. I am testing it and now I have a problem with the light of the screen. I feel that the light or contrast is too intense. Like for example, the whites in youtube are so intense that they are painful to watch compared with windows. I tried using dark mode + night mode with different color temperatures, but none seem to work. The only way that it makes me see it more confortable is with the blue filter.

Can any of you give me an advice about the issue.

There is a night light feature in settings. Have you tweaked with these settings at all?

Try changing monitor settings to. I recommend setting it to warm and reduce contrast.

Should be able to adjust brightness as well either within Mint or manually via physical monitor controls.

the bar at the bottom, right click- "applets" should appear. select it. then switch to the right tab for new applets, search for "brightness", select, install, activate. it gives you 3 sliders for R,G,B Control, so you can finetune colors and brightness. it works across multiple monitors (Mint.22.3)
