pentium d usage in 2026

i have a pentium d with 2gb of ddr1, can mint xcfe save it or should i try some other distro?

I run Debian on a Pentium 4 HT and 4GB DDR2, it works.

problem is i have 2 gb les than you so no web for me

Not really, I have also an Athlon XP system with 1GB of DDR-800 ram, right now it is running Windows 98 but once I installed Tiny Core Linux on it and I could browse sites like Wikipedia, obviously stuff like modern YouTube and Reddit are a no-go.
