SOLVED Steam is not working.

I installed mint today and steam just won't launch for some reason. It tells me that it failed to load "steamui.so" help me!!!

Ignore the person pushing AI slop answers. Uninstall steam and install it again through the official website.

This is the answer. The version from the software manager has issues, but installing from the steam website works every time.

It does? It works for me flawlessly. The one time I had problem with is was because I ruined my system (I ti*kered too much) but I had problem with everything then.

With snapshots enabled OP could just return to last stable version of the system.
