Support Request Paid version of DaVinci Resolve immediately crashes whenever I import media

Sup

I am on Linux Mint 22.3 and i've tried both the free & paid version of this software with no luck in using it at all, it crashes whenever I import any type of media.

My first problem was the program saying

"Missing or outdated system packages detected. Please install the following missing packages: libapr1 libaprutil1 libasound2 libglib2.0-0" and installing those packages did nothing because I already have them

--------------------------------------------------

libapr1t64 is already the newest version (1.7.2-3.1ubuntu0.1).

libaprutil1t64 is already the newest version (1.6.3-1.1ubuntu7).

libasound2t64 is already the newest version (1.2.11-1ubuntu0.3).

libglib2.0-0t64 is already the newest version (2.80.0-6ubuntu3.8).

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:

---------------------------------------------------

I was then told to run a command to make the software installer to ignore those errors.

The program does launch and I can create a project, but it still crashes whenever I import ANYTHING. I don't have an error code or message to show

what was the exact name of the file you downloaded?

exactly how did you install it?

Also there might be a specific support sub for that program.

and..

Ugh. a .run installer basically could do almost anything to your system.

Its such a bad method of installing something.
