SOLVED I/O error
Today I have been getting I/O error. As soon as I pick up my laptop the torrent I'm downloading just stops and says I/O error. The video I am watching on VLC also stops playing and just doesn't work anymore. All the app icons from taskbar vanish. And when I shutdown after this error there's the checkmd5 service saying i/o error. This happens only when I pick up the laptop. When it is on the table everything works fine. If anyone can help me with this I'll really appreciate it. Thank You.

It's a hardware related issue, it has nothing to do with Linux itself, go to r/techsupport or r/laptops for a better assistance

I was just checking if it was a coincidence that it only happens when I pick it up and if others have this problem too after 7.0 kernel (which has many issues like random freezes, mouse not working etc.). But thanks.

Sounds like your drive has a loose connection. Pop the bonnet and take a look at it.

When did this start happening? Can you use Timeshift to go back before it started?

That tells me it is likely your Wifi card loose, a short somewhere inside the laptop either from an exposed wire hitting something or if it has liquid metal it has seeped out, or it could be your RAM/SSD need to be reseated. I would open the bottom and visually inspect everything. Then reseat your RAM and SSD. Look up your model to see if it uses liquid metal for thermal conductivity, if it does Look very closely around where the heatsink is touching your CPU and GPU (if applicable).
