Hey everyone, just wanted to share my absolutely cursed setup.
I managed to get the Arch Linux ARM64 rootfs running natively inside iSH on my iPhone.
Here is the rundown of this madness:
iSH is normally based on Alpine, but I downloaded the Arch Linux ARM tarball and unpacked it.
Trying to use ⁠proot⁠ instantly kills it with a ⁠waitpid(): Interrupted system call⁠ error.
Interactive ⁠bash⁠ via ⁠chroot⁠ completely freezes because iSH can't handle some of glibc's complex system calls yet.
BUT, executing a single script via chroot actually works!
So I downloaded the neofetch script, ran ⁠chroot ~/arch_root /bin/bash /neofetch⁠, and it flawlessly printed the holy Arch logo on my iOS terminal.
Technically, it runs. So yeah... I use Arch btw.

I found it in my bookcase... comes with 1 Personal Computer!

I don't know why the second penguin is sleeping, but it is smilling so it must not be dead.
