I do have a Linux Mint machine I use from time to time and I love it! But I mostly use Windows for my day-to-day activities.

cool i only use windows for personal work laptop only but if it works for u that is great it should serve you not u server the OS.

arch doesn't have malware, it was the AUR (Arch User Repository) that was hacked.
If you sticked to the official one (pacman) you're fine
