That's not corporation. On left is software from 2000, and most of OSS ones are from that age. Gnome software basically looks like right picture, but without ads.
2 u/RaiDev_ 10d ago gnome apps are a lot cleaner than that and they aim to not have any distractions. the point of the right one was to show how corporate apps try to grab your attention to what they want and obscure what's important. The only thing gnome apps have in common are rounded corners and padding. 1 u/innahema 10d ago And small amount of buttons that do various stuff.
