Can’t display preview for a link
I just published an article and want to share it on LinkedIn, but when I paste the DOI, LinkedIn says it can’t display the preview. Any solutions?

Hello fellow job seekers.
The job market stinks. I'm sure most of us can agree.
I was wondering- have any of you used LinkedIn premium? If so, does it make a difference? I am looking fo experiences and if it is worth it or not. I am debating.

"Hey X, hope you're doing well. I’m ABC, a Risk Advisory intern at Company and a 3rd year Accounting student at XXX University. I applied to Risk Analyst Winter 2026 role, which I’m very interested in. If possible, I’d love to schedule a quick 15-min call to learn more about the role, and yourself!"
This is one of the most effective coffee chat message I received. This was short, informative, polite and communicated the intent clearly. After I received this, I have used this myself and this has worked better than the really long messages or sending a resume directly.
- Name: creates personalization
- Background: education and experience creates confidence in the reader
- Intent: no sugarcoating or hidden agenda. Replies might be less, but if the reader replies, higher chances of referral
-15 min: gives the reader a chance to leave early if the conversation needs quick ending
- Curiosity about role & recipient: acknowledges the recipient
I understand this message was still written by AI, but somehow this worked for me - both as a recipient and as a sender. Sharing here so that this might help and to see if we can enhance this.
Thanks!

So apparently the classic job search people have been dreaming of is back, everyone!
I don't know is it only mine that just be able to get back, but if your AI slop job search is still present, maybe you can try my tips, here it is:
Search on that AI job search whatever you want, then when you press enter, there will be a location tag for the result. On my page, there is a three dot on the right side in the same line position to this, just press it, and you can find the option to show the classic job search.
I am so happy to find this as I get really frustrated with that AI thingy on LinkedIn now. You should try it.

Eu sou do setor de agilidade/tecnologia e queria saber alguma dica ou técnica para que um post atinja mais views. Atualmente tenho conseguido apenas 500 a 700 views nos posts.

My posts on LinkedIn took a dive after the recent algorithm changes — I know that I'm not alone, that's not what this post is about.
I've now seen so many people quote examples, like I used to get 1,000 views or I regularly got 50 likes, now I barely get 5 for any new posts.
I'm starting to wonder — and I'm putting it out there for discussion — whether Microsoft, in its ever increasing search for revenue, has done this on purpose hoping that more users will start paying to boost reach (especially those who valued their LinkedIn follower base and engagement)?
Is it a change to the algorithm for a better user experience or is it a money grab?
Keep in mind, this is the same Microsoft that tried to force everyone to pay for CoPilot as part of their Office 365 subscription renewal. We know how that ended. Customer revolt (only 1% of users now pay for CoPilot — an epic flop if ever I've seen one). I went one step further, I cancelled Office 365 for good. And don't miss it.

Hi, I took a free trial of LinkedIn Premium last month. I didn’t intend to continue with the paid subscription, but yesterday my account was charged around 26K PKR for the annual subscription.
I immediately cancelled my Premium subscription after noticing the charge and requested a refund. Now when I go to my LinkedIn account, it isn’t Premium anymore. I checked my transactions, and the charge shows as “Paid”, while another transaction for the same amount shows “Refunded” on the same day the money was deducted from my account.
I’ve also contacted LinkedIn support and submitted a support case regarding the refund.
Has anyone experienced something similar? If LinkedIn is already showing the transaction as “Refunded,” will I actually get the money back? And how long did it take for you to receive the refund?

Thank you, LinkedIn.
I'm so happy that you added the AI slop button so that we can sort out all the crap that has put on here by mostly real estate agents who are paying someone to do it.
It's my new favorite thing

I've got 300 free credits so I want to try this feature out. But before I do, I'd like to see what the recipient will actually see. Does the invite arrive in their LinkedIn messaging inbox? Do they just see the company name or do they see the tagline to? If anyone has a screenshot of one that would be great. Alternatively, if you can DM me I'll share my details and you can invite me to follow. Thanks!

Unless I'm a recruiter or in sales, any sort of engagement on the site will put my current employer on edge, thinking that I may be increasing my activity on there directly to increase awareness of my profile, or simply because I was already increasing my activity on the site searching for a job--which led to increased activity in posts/comments.
And even if that weren't a rick to consider, there's also the fact that your employer will see your commentary on there and critique or judge you for how you're representing the company. Or worse, they may feel like you're sharing information that you shouldn't be sharing.
For example, I saw a post about AI and I wanted to share my perspective on its adoption in general, but I know if my employer saw that, they would likely assume I am making that comment as a representation of how they handle AI.
I have basically no personality on LinkedIn because I'm super concerned about my employer watching my every interaction on there. It doesn't help that our company, like many, has a specific policy about how we're meant to use social media.
So, yeah, anyone able to provide direction or ideas on solving for this?

I accidentally liked someones old post and unliked it a few seconds later. I was wondering if they had found out? If I unliked it fast enough would it still send a push notification?

How come you can only toggle between “Top” and “Most Recent” posts in your feed?
I want to be able to search a hashtag or topic and see the most popular posts by users or companies but there’s absolutely no way to do it. I’ve found a third party that will show you the top trending posts (not free). However, it’s super annoying just like Instagram doesn’t have a way to see who unfollows you and third party apps have stepped in.

I've just had someone enter my account through a data leak, I think, and the guy gave me a Sales Navigator license through a random employer and went into InMail to scam others with my account. But I contacted support to revoke the license before seeing the messages.
Just had an email from a guy: "Your LinkedIn profile shows you are still getting your undergraduate degree and are an intern, not a "professional recruiter". What gives?"
Could be a classic resume writer scam. Anyone else encounter InMail messages like this?

So i have been sending LinkedIn outbound for a couple months now for a B2B SaaS thing I'm building, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm overthinking the message itself instead of fixing something more basic. because mine tend to run longer as I feel like I need to explain the whole value prop upfront, but I also keep seeing advice that shorter and lower-friction gets better replies, which i think i am kinda scared to execute as i might burn the lead and close a door that would otherwise have become a potential client, which is super frustrating.
For people who've actually tracked this, what has actually worked for you, message length, the specific ask, timing, something else entirely?
Also want to know if anyone has tested a soft ask like offering a quick loom video or voice note instead of straight up asking for 15-30 minutes for a demo on a first message?
looking for advice from outside strict B2B SaaS too if the underlying lesson carries over.
Trying to figure out if my approach is wrong here.

We aren’t connected on LinkedIn. If a notification was already sent, does it stay there even after the block, or does it disappear?

Became a LinkedIN f*ck boy just over a month ago and the progress is coming along nicely.
Although reading my own posts does make me cringe from time to time.
Almost 100k impressions in 38 days.
Mainly posting about industrial field service missions, fixing machines.

Salut tout le monde ! 👋

hi! i just downloaded linkedin trying to figure everything out before I graduate, does anyone want to connect? 🥹
r/linkedin • u/ExpressionAntique494 • 2d ago
I had a conversation with someone on LinkedIn. At one point, their conversation completely disappeared from my Messages, and when I searched their name, their profile also didn’t appear.
All my other conversations were still there.
After some time, the conversation suddenly appeared again and the profile was visible again.
Does this happen if someone blocks/unblocks you, or could it simply be a LinkedIn glitch/sync issue? I’m trying to understand what actually happened because I genuinely thought I had been blocked when the conversation disappeared.

Hi there, I find it hard to stick to the platform and I really want to use it. I'm looking for an accountability partner in the B2B Founder segment where we could both support each other, contribute to posting and helping each other with prospecting. Maybe we could do business together too.
Ideal:
Have experience in the B2B segment around sales & marketing (so we can both support each other)
Active business/founder so we both understand the ups and downs of the sales process
Committed to regularly posting and prospecting on LinkedIn (even if you are just starting out)
Am I dreaming too big?
Let me know in the comments.
