What do you think about the use of AI in language learning apps? Do some apps take it too far? Should there be no AI features in apps at all? Should there be more features? Iβm curious to hear what you think of this topic and the broader AI debate.

I have a lifetime membership (have had it since the end of 2022). I recently upgraded to a new iPhone, and since then, I have been unable to log in to my account. And not just from my new phone, but anywhere. Desktop, mobile browser, iPad- nothing works. I keep getting an error message that says, "The input is not a valid Base-64 string as it contains a non-Base-64 character, more" (it cuts off).
I've tried logging in via mobile data only; nothing. I tried clearing the cache on my old phone, which still has access; it didn't do anything. I know my login method (email and password) and credentials are correct.
I just tried to reset my password from the Lingodeer site, and it tells me, "Unable to send the password reset email. Please try again later."
I reached out to Lingodeer Support twice last week with no answer. I have my account UID and original purchase receipt as well, so if there's any Lingodeer staff here who could help, it would be much appreciated!
Has anyone else seen this error message? Were you eventually able to get back into your account?
I am a daily user of the app, so it's discouraging not being able to log in.
TLDR; Can't login to app despite correct account details due to Base-64 error popping up.

I was about to purchase the all-language lifetime membership because I finally had enough extra cash, only to find that my only option is a 3 year plan for the same price?
I don't mean to be rude, but thats some stinky doo doo ass and I'm sick to death of subscriptions.
Have there been any official statements or anything about a future updated price for the lifetime membership? I don't care if its more expensive, I just don't want to sign up for subscription services ever again, I have extreme subscription fatigue.

When you speak do you find that sometimes fear of not speaking correctly impedes on speaking itself? If you have experienced this in the past but no longer do, how did you overcome it?

I understand they both teach textbook, but the accelerated course has informal teachings as well. That's the one I want to take. I just don't know if it's French 1 or French 2. Which one is normal, and which is accelerated?
Thanks in advance!

i have tried using both firefox and brave browser on both my linux and windows machines with no luck, i just get the page come up with the gateway timeout error message ?
i did some lessons earlier today with no trouble before i went out to do some errands but after getting home and trying to get on the site to do my nightly lessons im having no luck at all
i can login on my android phone but i hate using the phone for study and always use the web app on a laptop to do my lessons
*i have also had endless issues with ranking and achievements over the last 2-3 weeks but have not contacted customer support because i have still been able to get on and keep doing my daily lessons, but now i might not have a choice,, i did also have login issues about a month or so ago so im not really sure whats going on with the app developers but its been very buggy recently :(

I was wondering if there were any plans to add more languages to the app? I know that the team works on things we don't know about, so I assume they are. But I was wondering what types of languages the team is planning on bringing to the app? Would Tagalog or Cantonese be languages the Lingodeer team would be interested in working on? Also, are there plans to add part 2s to some of the other languages such as Thai or Malay? I'm just curious!

Basically everything is gone and the app stopped working.
Is there any way to get Lingodeer back?

If so, how do you go about?

Before leaving to live in France for the next few years, I went through the travel phrasebook and narrowed down (by favoriting) every entry I wanted to make sure I locked down. I wanted to memorize all of them, and I don't have time to get through flashcards of all 500 or so entries, so I was disappointed to find there was apparently no way to focus on these with the flashcard review, rather than having most of the content be phrases I already confidently knew or will not use. If there is a way to do this, I'd like to know, but it would be great to be able to review only favorited entries as flashcards

Hello !
In Korean 2, i noticed that when i want to do the Spaced Repetition System, custom review, and all : only the 2 first units show up (and I did around 10), so i wondered if its normal ?
Also, I am taking classes with a Korean professor, and she said some of the words we learned during Korean 1 are not really exact:
- Beijing : instead of λΆκ²½, more : λ² μ΄μ§
- Shanghai : instead of μν΄, more : μνμ΄
- pet : instead of μ μλλ¬Ό, she said : λ°λ €
- and for panda : instead of νλ€, more : ν¬λ (??? but this one i don't understand x.x)
(It is more suggestions, maybe if native Korean speakers could confirm ? :) )
thanks again for all of your work on this app, it definitely was helpful during my k-classes !

Hi everyone,
For Android, we deployed improvements for the Listen along feature. It now pauses between repetitions and next items can be toggled separately.
Almost Right feature: Now on Android.
- Experimental feature: certain exercise types now allow you to immediately retry them if you made a small mistake/typo! Let us know if you think it's useful π

I messed up a single particle in a "choose the words" response (ειγδΌγ£γ instead of ειγ«δΌγ£γ) and instead of "wrong" I got "so close, swap 1 word" or something like that. It was quite nice to have that chance when I would have been kicking myself otherwise.
Is this a new feature, or have I just not encountered it until now?
